Can you take Methadone and Suboxone together?

If you're on Methadone can you still take Suboxone safely? ## NO! They are both very strong narcotics, it is not safe to take both. In addition, Suboxone also contains Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates. This is done to prevent people from still trying to get high off of other narcotics while they are under Suboxone treatment. ## Also it will put you into IMMEDIATE withdrawals...so DO NOT DO IT!!!! ## So true I went into acute withdrawals. I did not feel human. I thought I could go get high and get rid of the feeling, so wrong. I t made it even worse. I am terrified of suboxen now.
