I m trying for pregnancy and have pcod. Doctor has advised IVF for next cycle and advised meprate from day 21 for 5 days. Does it affect adversely if i'm pregnent in this cycle only? i am 31 yrs having pcos. i underwent ivf & had baby a year back. now for past 45 days i have heavy bleeding and also put on weight. doctor 1st advised me Meprate, since no improvement, again advised Meprate with Fefol Z. i was not advied for any ultra sound scan or any other test. kindly advise me i am n right path? ## Some blood work should be done to check what exactly is causing it, as well as an ultrasound. It could be due to a hormonal imbalance, but that's not really likely if the Meprate hasn't helped, since it contains Medroxyprogesterone. Have you visited an Ob Gyn or just a regular doctor for it? A general practitioner may not know all the possibilities involved. ## How long will the menstrual meprate 10mg taking the pill?

I have PCOD. My doctor prescribed me Meprate 10mg for 5 days. I took the tablets and I got my periods but it has been 16 days and the bleeding didn't stop... It's 9 days since I've taken meprate 10mg BD for 5 days... Still i didn't get my menses. How many days can I wait more? ## No periods after meprate 12th day. Having pcod. Body is bit heat. ## I am taking Meprate since 14th September, on 3rd day of taking it I saw some blood not like flow, but some blood clots like period is coming. I completed 5 days course today. I am 26 yrs old and unmarried and I have a irregular periods for the past few months ..last August I had my periods and September October I missed it . so I took meprate 10mg tablet for 10 days (2 tablet per day ) in the end of October .Now am waiting to get my periods. After 5 days of taking the tablet I didn't get the menstrual flow . should I consult the Dr again or am I having any illness?

I underwent perforated appendicitis open surgery which was 12inches cut. Post surgery for the past 1 1/2 months i had consecutive complications like no sense of feeling urgency of passing urine , motion or gas, reverse giddiness,constipation. hi. i'm suffering hormonal imbalance for 3 months and my ob told me to use althea for 6 months after using provera. i'm really afraid to use pills. is der any way to regulate my period without using those pills? ## For the best outcome and success, it is best to follow your doctor's instructions. I had gone through a miscarriage on June 18th till August 31st. I was bleeding on September 1st. I had visited the doctor and she advised me to take meprate 10mg tablet for 10 days. She told me you'll be having ur period on September 14th..... On September 3rd I had unprotected sex and took an ipill after six hour's.... Am I pregnant? Hi. I am late for my periods. It's been 35 days but no periods. I am having severe pain in my lower abdomen and have a function to attend next week.
