what is the difference between metoprolor succ and metoprolor er? ## If it's just listed as Metoprolol succinate, without another designation such as the ER, SR, XR, or etc. then it is just a regular release formulation. The ER and other abbreviations that I mentioned designate that one as being a time released formulation to help better control high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. I have been prescribed Predmet 4mg Tablets 2 tablets each day for 3 days. I have a fungul infection in my ear which is inflamed and the ear discharges when I am asleep. I have trouble hearing because of the constant wetness in my ear and this drug was prescribed.
