My wife has been prescribed norco 10/325mg and has tried different mfg's due to different phamacy's brand they carry, she states that only Mallinckro works to stop the pain from two spinal fusions and a broken hip and femor. What pharmacy carries this brand, we got it when we were with kaiser and now we are with scan and cannot seem to obtain this mfg. ???? thanks Jim ## There is actually no way to know which generic that any given pharmacy is carrying, at any given time. It can vary, depending on which manufacturer is offering the cheapest price, when they they need to restock their supply. Have you tried asking the pharmacy if they can order the other in for her? ## WALMART they only carry this brand for it is not popular on the streets ## Is there anyone out there that not on...

I have been prescribed Watson brand Norco for years. Recently I was given this same drug made by a different manufacturer (Mallinckrodt). This formulation gave me headaches, cramps, hives and I'm vomiting. Why? ## Hi Lee, Whenever you switch manufacturers of the same drug, there's almost always going to be a difference in inert ingredients (binders & fillers) that make up the composition of the pill. Some people are more sensitive (or allergic) than others to these changes and that in itself may be a culprit for possible side effects. Something else worth noting is that different binding agents can affect bioavailability, which in turn means you get more or less of the actual active ingredient, potentially bringing about an onset of withdrawal symptoms. Unfortunately, determ...

Which is the best pain pill? Mallinckrodt 5-325 (NDC 00406-0365) tablet or Qualitest (NDC 00603-3890)? Have been taking Qualitest 5-325 tablet when needed one tablet by mouth one time a day from targets in dallas nc. Stopped at another targets in Mooresville, NC for same thing I thought. I was in such pain, I failed to see if it was the same thing as to what I had taken. It was take one tablet twice a day. I came home and took one tablet . It never hit the pain. I looked and it was a mallinckro 5-325. So I waited two hours and took the second pill. It never hit the pain. Next day I took 1 & 1/2 pill twice a day. It never hit the pain. so what is wrong with this pill? did the pharmacy fill the priscription incorrectly? Please let me know what I should do? ## Hello, Jeanine! How are y...

I used to take Norco 10/325 for chronic pain by Watson, but Watson was bought out by Actavis. Wow, the difference in pain control went from 10 to zero. All Walgreens and CVS pharmacy's only carry Actavis, so I called around and finally found the generic that works even better than Watson's, and that's Mallinckrodt, at least for me. Most hospital pharmacies carry Mallinckrodt. Amneal, Qualitest and so many other manufacturers are absolute garbage! I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in every joint in my body. I think those fake manufacturers of pain pills should be shut down. ## They aren't fake manufacturers, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as p...

I have been taking hydrocodone manufactured by Mallinckrodt for years, I recently renewed my rx and they gave me hydrocodone manufactured by Watson, I found these do NOT work as well. I called the pharmacy and they told Mallinckrodt discontinued producing hydrocodone. Is this true? If so does anybody know of a manufacturer that is equivalent to Mallinckrodt? ## Hi I have been taking vicodin For a long time.but from different manufacturers. And recently I got some a couple of days Ago,and it was generic for lortab.it is called norco.and it said generic for lortab.I don't know Who the manufactor is. But it is stronger.and only 325 mg.of tylenol. I take 7.5.I don't know what you take but it is stronger I guess bc it has less tylenol. You could research it and see.or just research t...

I have been using brand name Norco 10 325 for some time. recently because of the DEA I cannot get them and nowi mallinckrodt s the only drug my pharmacy sells. I have read so many bad things about them on the internet, frankly I am about to have a nervous breakdown as I recently had rotator cuff surgery and I have to have the pain control to complete my therapy. I have heard good things but everyone says that the one to say the good things are crazy. help!!! ## I understand your concern, however, the only way to know if they will help you, or not, is to actually try them! You're not doing yourself any good by getting upset over it, please calm down. :-) It isn't that the people on either side of what you've read are crazy, it's that everyone is different, so some may not...

I have been taking the generic form of Orange Oblong shaped form of Norco which is hydrocodone 7.5 which was working fine until they changed it to a pill with the markings M366. These things are absolutely worthless. Does Mallinckrodt plan on going out of business soon or are they going to remove these from the pharmacies. I'm sending samples of mine to the FDA to see what's wrong with them. ## I've used Qualitest 3605 for years and I agree, the Mallinckrodt M366 are substantially inferior (bio-equivalence) for pain relief. My current Part D insurance uses Walmart Home Delivery. I've called them and complained. ## They do not work. I have been spending most of my time in bed since getting my prescription from Walgreens with mfg Mallinckrodt. I believe that they are place...

I will be walking and look down my 50 mcg mallinckrodt will be on the floor only after putting it on the previous day. How embarrassing. There have been times I wont even know and will feel awful. I have cystic fibrosis and 50% of my pancreas left. Im so sick of this. I do take norco for breakthrough but I feel horrible when the patch falls off. I dont want to use fabric tape all the time (which works the best, other tape doesnt). The patch is made by mallinckrodt. ## Hi peanut, Sorry to hear about your experience with the adhesive on the patch. It sounds like tape isn't much better either since it can only last for so long as well. Where have you been placing the patch at? Maybe a different spot would last longer before falling off, if it's not somewhere vulnerable. It would be...

I'm sure they're more than a few of you out there that might be returning to look into basically the same problems with Mallinckrodt Pharm"s Hydrocodone/APAP 7.5/325, commonly referred to as Norco. About 4 years ago, Mallinckrodt dumped a bunch of this product on the US market. I have been taking Norco for about 12 years & have always been at about the same dose and never had any problems until I ran into this brand. I've had Actavis, Watson, & Qualtest brands with relatively no noticeable difference. Then four years ago, I filled my usual prescription and came home to find a different shaped tablet with M366 on the side. Almost immediately after my first dose, first came the stomach ache, then the headache, and eventually the feeling of withdrawal. I went to the...

Hello, I have been on Norco 10/325 for several years and Watson then Quailtest always worked great. I go to a small pharmacy and they can no longer order Quailtest. They had Tris till this year and I liked Tris also. They will let me pick from whatever they have and that is Amneal, Mallinckrodt, or Camber. The Camber made me sick. So what would you choose between Amneal and Mallinckrodt? I know the reviews aren't great for either on here, but do you prefer 1 over the other? They told me they could also order other generics if I let them know. Thanks for any suggestions. ## When I had to have my dental work done, I had good results with the product from both of those manufacturers, but to me, it did seem that the Mallinckrodt worked a little faster. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone wit...

Has anyone had mallinckodt hydrocodone that doesn't have any markings? ## Hello, Freddy! How are you? There are no legal U.S. prescription tablets that don't have markings on them. Imprints are required by law to enable their identification, in case of emergency. I can also tell you that Mallinckrodt doesn't make any medications without markings on them, they use their logo on everything they manufacture. That said, if it doesn't have a marking, it is most likely just some type of over the counter product. The FDA lists Hydrocodone as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a script of norco 5-325...

My pharmacy changed my meds from the yellow 10-325 v 3601 norco to the 10-325 white m367 mallinckrodt. I've been taking the yellows for years with no problems. Today I started the whites and feeling dizzy, a little weak, kind of panicky. What is different about the two meds that would cause this? ## hi i take the 10-325 hydrocodone apap tablet malli and i was takeing the yellow 10-325 witch helped me i have a very bad back and spine problems the whit pills do noting but give me headackes and upset stomack i have been on vicodin for many years now that the drugs store gave me the white pills they do not work but make me sick what can i do? ## Hello, Jennifer and Don! I have been taking Hydrocodone-Acetominophen 7.5-325 for years for degenerative disks in my back. The generic Aurobindo tablets don't work for me and make me nauseated. Applause go to: Mallinckrodt. Mallinckrodt manufactures that same prescription (white pill M366) and they are the only ones I have found that actually work with no unpleasant side effects. I really wish my pharmacy hadn't switched manufacturers. I am extremly disappointed in Aurobindo generic for Norco. The other one that didn't work was orange with a V on one side and 36|05 on the other, manufactured by Qualitest. It was garbage, just like the Aurobindo. ## I've probably just read 50 reviews on Hydrocodone 10-325's & you're the first person that actually has something good to say about Mallin...

oval, white number on them M366 ## m363 ## Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The tablet with the marking of M 363 is listed by Mallinckrodt as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any images to post for you. As I wrote in another thread, the pharmacies are not getting real Norco. I used to get Watson by Actavis or Norco by Allergan! My last Rx was generic by Mallinckrodt. And it is junk weak and does no good for pain. I was getting Norco by Allergan and it as 100 percent best. This company was purchased by AbbVie and Allergan separated. And when I sent an email to them they replied Norco was stopped December 2020. I also asked them if they were going to make any thing that would equal Norco. Never got an answer! So you people in pain for years or need stronger drugs, you are not getting it. All we get is generic and half the pain. I was paying 50.00 copay and was getting my Norco! Now I am getting some junk generic by Mallinckrodt! All junk. You have to double up your pill for any treatment...

What is the difference in the white oblong pill with m367 and the yellow with a V and 3601? ## The only difference between these two tablets is that they are manufactured by different companies. The one with the M marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the one with the V is manufactured by Vintage/Qualitest. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But both are the same dosage and contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, Your wrong. It's very apparent that you are not taking these pills, and/or you have never had a long standing chronic pain problem, and had to go from ...

Is there a difference between norco IP 109 and norco M 365? If so, what is it? ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? They are just manufactured by different companies. The one with the IP 109 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and the one with the M 365 marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, but both are listed as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is a white oval pill w/ m365 a 10mg Norco? ## Hi Dodie, A white oval pill marked "M365" is identified as Acetaminophen 325 mg + Hydrocodone 5 mg. So to answer your question, no, this is not a "10 mg" Norco. It actually appears to be a generic version of Norco as well. It is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and has a National Drug Code of 00406-0365 I hope this info helps! ## Is an oval hydrocodone with the number m365 on it a 7.5 milligrams ## ?? ?t? a 5/325 ?????c????? ?? t?at ?? w?at. k??? ?? p??? ??u have ## Ok my pharmacy giving me m365hydrocodone talking about its 10 stilling 0 ## I have an oblong white pill that is scored on one side and has m365 on the other. I have Norco M 367 and I'd like to know if they have side effects? ## Yes, it does have side effects! The same as any other narcotic! This is manufactured by mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals and have 325mgs of Acetaminophen in it, as well as 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it can cause drowsiness, a high feeling, euphoria, nausea, vomiting, constipation and addiction! ## Hi....after taking narcs for years, I'd recommend getting on one that is not married with Tylenol. Because of tolerance, which is inevitable, meds such as morphine, dilaudid, roxicodone, etc., do not contain Tylenol at all. Meds such as Norco and Percocet have to be limited in dosage because of Tylenol content. It will wreak havoc on the liver, esp. If combined with alcohol. I've been on Roxicodone for quite a few years a...
