I purchased 2 strips of LIMCEE manufactured by Abbott. The chewable tablets had a very bad taste. I have had limcee many times before. This is the first time I found the taste so bad, as if it was coated in diesel or something. I tried one tablet from each strip and both tasted weird. They were smelling weird too. Could someone let me know why this is so? ## The same thing happened with me.. I bought 2 strip's of Limcee from different medical shops.. those were tasting very weird.. very savour, odd flavor.... smell was also awful..

Can LIMCEE tablet prevent deficiency of calcium ? ## No, it just contains Vitamin C, so that's all it will provide and prevent a deficiency in. If you have a calcium deficiency then you need to take a calcium supplement, or vitamin D. Does limcee vitamin C chewable tablets (500 mg) contain rose hips or bioflavonoids in it? ## Hi sonal, Based on my research, Limcee Vitamin C Tablets manufactured by Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. (NPIL), only contain 500mgs of Vitamin C and nothing else. There are many other Vitamin C supplements that do contain rose hips and bioflavonoids, but this one doesn't. I started taking limcee 500gm once daily. is it safe? I heard from my aunt that it works on hair fall control and good for skin. can I have it daily? I have periods problem. is it bad for it. ## Taking Limecee in recommended dose will ofcourse not cause you any harm. These are food supplements and help to overcome the deficiency. Even if you overdose Limcee tab, the body will absorb only that is required and the rest shall be discharged. It won't store in your body like other fats do. So keep up.. with vitamin c. It is really good for hair and skin and digestive health.

is limcee tablets used to make vitamin c serum ## Hi uzma, From what I could gather, Vitamin C Serum can come in the form of many products... some of which use Asorbic acid as a source of Vitamin C. Limcee also contains Ascrobic Acid, so it is regarded as a Vitamin C tablet. However, this doesn't necessarily mean you can break the tablet up and use it to make skin serum. Many tablets have binders/fillers that you may not want to put on your skin anyways. I think your best bet would probably be to find raw Vitamin C in it's purest and least processed form, from a reputable organic company. I personally like the one by Healthforce, who makes a 100% whole food vitamin C powder from acerola berry. It's a really fine non toxic powder with no asorbic acid either. This is great for...

y/d bought lincee tablet for my daughter age 7. when i cut strip I found tablets are wet and color is changed it is 500 mg. b.no el0211 june 2011. exp date 2013.
