It's hard to know for sure, but I believe the V is the logo for Qualitest pharmaceuticals. This pill could be anything from a narcotic for pain to a benzodiazepine for anxiety. It could also be a medication manufactured outside the United States, or possibly an over the counter product, but it has been difficult to verify 100%. I have a round light blue pill from Mexico. There's nothing on one side except for the what appears to be the shape of a diamond on a diamond or perhaps a big V on a small v. There may also be a diamond shape inside of the V's. It tastes nasty and has a tongue-numbing effect. I was told here in Mexico that it's a painkiller.

What is a small round light blue pill with 220 imprinted on one side and blank on the other? I found it at home with children and just looking to see if I should worry? ## Hi Marbear, If the light blue pill your describing has a bit of an oval shape to it, then my findings point to Naproxen sodium 220mg; an over-the-counter NSAID used for inflammation, fever, minor aches and pains. From what I could gather, the Drug Identification Number is 02385007. If you still have any doubts about the pill ID, I would also encourage you to take it into a local pharmacy for a second opinion. They are to be taken every 12 hours and are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals.
