I would like to know the difference between mcg and mg. I am taking 88mcg's a day and now have a prescription for 0.05 mg's a day. Started this drug 2 weeks ago and I feel like I am falling apart. Was taking it with an iron supplement as prescribed by my doctor. For the past week I've had soreness in the lower left abdominal region and at times, I feel a bit woozy Like a shakey feeling. It almost feels like I'm outside my self and it is very hard to explain. Sometimes, multiple medications might be prescribed to help lower levels as fast, and as safely as possibly. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, mood changes, and hair loss.

I've only been taking this for 7 days, but in that time I've been more sleepy and have all over joint pain. Mild pimple-like rash on my upper back, but not what you'd call acne. Too early to tell, or is increased tiredness symptomatic of anything? ## Hello, Cate! How are you? Those can all be side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA, along with nausea, hair loss and weight changes. Most side effects will improve, over time, as your body adjusts to the medication, but you can expect them to recur, anytime your dosage is raised. why has Sandoz currently experiencing a "production" problem with their levothyroxine. Afer Levoxyl was taken away (I had taken this for twenty years and could not take Synthroid) the Sandoz worked perfectly. What is going on? ## Hi, Kat! i have been put on levothroxine 75 mg for a low thyroid after 5 weeks still know weight loss how long before i see a result ## With a slightly low thyroid, I have been on a much lower dose for several months, but have not lost any of the weight I had gained. ## I did lose weight after about a month on the .025 mcg- it came off really slow though and I had to slow down on my calorie intake just brcause the pill made me more hungry. I just went back to eating like I normally did and the weirhgt came off. I went from 137 to 123.

Lol The difference of mcg vs mg is the measurement of each. MCG is the abbreviation of micrograms. MG is the abbreviation of milligram. You would need 1000 micrograms to make up 1 milligram. tan L 10 ## THIS IS NOT LEVOTHYROXINE!! A common mix-up since the numbers on these pills are so similar, but the tan one is actually Lisinopril, which is used to lower high blood pressure.
