When I was at my family physician yesterday, she said she may have to take me off xanax and put me on ativan because of new Indiana guidelines. She did say I could see a psychiatrist for my xanax. I explained I have been on them for over 27 years a hysterectomy take 2-.05 a day. I told her I do not abuse them etc. They are probably psychologically by now anyways. If I have to I will see a psychiatrist. We will see when I come back which is 3 months. Is there a new guideline for Indiana? I am so mad about all these new rules and regulations. I have to pay out of my pocket for my xanaxs which is over $27. A friend of mine pays over $100 for her ativan. I cannot afford this. Are these things real? ## Hi tony, If there are no markings, the best thing I can suggest is to contact the pharmacy in India who sent you the pills (for verification). If you just feel uneasy about your purchase, you should be able to file a dispute with your debit/credit card company to help get your money back for a product that was falsely advertised by a possibly sketch company. Two different drugs in the same family that have similar properties ## Xanax is slightly structurally different than klonopin. The main factor being that xanax has a shorter half life than klonopin. The drug gets into your system effecting you quicker and more intensely but also leaves your system more quickily than klonopin which comes on slower lasts longer and leaves the body quicker therefore making it easier to taper off of if that time does come.

I have had horrible panic attacks since I was 18. I also have generalized anxiety disorder, ptsd and severe depression. My family doesnt understand why I cry all the time. I dont either.
