It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Does anyone have any questions?

I am having eye surgery in two days. I am used to .5mg Xanax and it calms me for flying and other things I have anxiety for. Don't take it often. My dr told me to take 5mg of Valium for surgery because it lasts longer then Xanax. I'm afraid this will not work as well. I am very anxious about this surgery and need to be awake and stay still. ## Your Doctor wants you to take a Benzo for the surgery? The Valium should do fine for the procedure, just don't drive on it. ## EDDY, in some situations when the patient is highly anxious and the "surgery" is in a setting such as eye surgery or dental procedures where the patient is not given IV's, it is not unusual for the dr to prescribe valium before surgery. what happen if i take three blue valium 10 mg at a same time? ## The would be quite a high dosage to take, at once and it may result in overdose, especially if you aren't used to taking it. Valium contains the active ingredient Diazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine and they are known to cause depression of the central nervous system. Therefore, taking too much of it could result in a drop in pulse rate, blood pressure and breathing rate and, in some cases, this can be fatal. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

These tablets are bad news. I nearly lost the plot. They are research chemicals flooded into the west of scotland. They are horrible. A friend of mine who will only take valium to get off the drink also went loopy. He told me he was bouncing of the walls but in a bad way and felt like hell. He told me ez 1.0 or 10 should be avoided. I would bin them. Horrible. No benzo in them. Something horrible. Stay clear, even if in withdrawals. They can kill you. Honest experience folks.

I was on 110 of methadone 4 almost 5 years, and also took Klonopin the whole time with it. I'm now on suboxone and still take the Klonopin. Benzodiazepines are a class of medications that include drugs such as Valium, Xanax and Ativan, which are most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. However, Benzatropine is a drug in the anticholinergic class, it's actually used to treat Parkinson's Disease, Parkinsonism and dystonia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Just to add to tony's message - the pill being described, white tablet with V on one side and 2326 on the other side is correctly assumed to be Benztropine 1mg, NDC code 0603-2434.
