iam not sure ? ## I take TREMADOL as a pain relief i suffer from a servere backacke and an unrearabale pain that comes from top to down of my left leg I can neither stand up nor walk I don`t know this morning I took INDOLAN 2 G IT`S now 2 hours and I`m intendin to take TREMADOL AS i STILL FEEL THE PAIN ## Just to make it easier for you to find information on it, I will let you know that the correct speling is Tramadol. Tramadol is derived from a narcotic and therefore listed as a Schedule II drug, however, it does not work like a narcotic, it works like an anti-inflammatory. It is a circular green tablet saying R and under that is a dash then under the dash it reads 214 and the opposite side is blank. ## is Tremadol hcl/apap an opiod angenstic? ## No, Tramadol with Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Ultracet is not an opiate narcotic, though it is derived from one and at one point it was classified as one. Learn more Ultracet details here. The classification was changed to place it under general centrally acting analgesics, when it was discovered that while it has the potential to he habit forming and can cause side effects similar to opiates, it doesn't alleviate pain as well as they do. This was actually the opposite of the desired effect, when this compound was being research and created they want to keep the potency of opiates for pain relief, but remove the negative side effects and addiction potential, so this one did a total flip.
