I have been on Zoloft for several years now. I neglected to bring it with me when I drove down here to Southern California from Nevada, where I live. Can my doctor in Nevada call a prescription for this medication in to a California pharmacy? If possible, please reply ASAP, as I am now out of the medication in question. Thank you. ## California does have laws pertaining to filling out-of-state controlled substances, but since sertraline (zoloft) is not a controlled substance, I don't think you'd run into any problems with your doctor calling it in to a specific pharmacy location, such as CVS, Walgreens and other multi-chain drug stores.
