If I take two different pills, one that's marked 224 30mg and the other pill marked 14 (20mg) - [both I understand are oxycodone] - Does that equal 50mg? And is that okay? Side effects the same? light green Oxycodone. Just the synthetic opiate medicine no acetaphetamine or aspirin included. I have no bad reactions from the straight medication. There are fillers and other opiates than cause me to have open sores and other reactions. My liver can not handle anymore tylenol or steroid inj's.. I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! When I visit the website they keep comparing themselves to Mallinckrodt. I used to get Mallinckrodt before I switched to the new pharmacy and they were by far the best. They're the same strength and help me just like the little blue ones. Everyone concerned about them are needle freaks or like to abuse them. I have a friend who misuses them and he is complaining. I tell him to take them and in 15 minutes you will feel the same as me. After I take mine it kicks in within 15 to 20 minutes. Keep ur nose clean and don't make me sick hearing needle problems. I have a pink small pill that says k 57. It looks like the grey k 57 oxycodone. Is it the same drug? I was told it is a 20 mg oxycodone. ## That is a 10 mg Roxy. They are pink. The 20 mg ones are gray. The 15 mg ones are green... Usually a light green. The 30 mg ones are blue. Depending on the maker of each of these they can be different shades of pink, green and blue. I am wondering how they compare to one another? ## Based on my research, Dilaudid is much stronger then Oxycodone, but it doesn't last very long in it's immediate release formula. Oxycodone has an extended release formula (Oxycontin); which may be better suited for some people when used chronically for long term pain relief. 8mg of Dilaudid is "roughly equivalent" to 20mg of Oxycodone. This is a nightmare!! I suffer from multiple auto-immune diseases such as Connective Tissue Disease, R.A, Livedo, Raynauds, & traces of Lupus. All of which cause EXCRUTIATING PAIN!! Trying to substitute 20mg oxycodone 3x a day with vicodin. How many vicodin a day would equal? ## Hello, Cici! How are you? You should not take more than your doctor has prescribed. The ratio, however, would be 30mgs of the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin to each 20mgs of Oxycodone. The problem is the Acetaminophen that is also in Vicodin, it is dangerous to take too much of it in any 24 hour period. Thus, if the current dose you've been prescribed of Vicodin does not help you, it would be much safer to speak to your doctor about adjusting your dosage, or trying a different medication. I've been on 30mg oxycodone for 10years one month I filled my RX & they were a different brand, they were KVT Tech. The entire month I had no pain relief! I was in so much pain! The next month I got actavis the brand I've always taken & it was night & day! A complete difference I finally got pain relief! Now my Dr changed me to 20mg oxycodone and the pharmacy gave me kvtech and for months I've been in so much pain! I've been cut in half of my daily dosage. I was taking 120mg a day now 60mg a day! I had my foot impaled by a forklift blade in 2007. I almost lost my foot. Four surgeries including nerve and skin grafting from multiple graft sites. My dr to this day has me on a 5mg oxy dosage and will not budge. Yet I know someone who gets 225 oxychodone 30 mg every two weeks for a VERY trumped up injury. This is Bs. Sorry just venting.
