I have this medication that I dont remember what it was for but I have an infected tooth thats killing me and going into my ear, I have no insurance or funds what dosage would I take this at? I have just started I took one and Im thinking 3 times a day every 8 hours will this help? ## Gregory, Bactrim is not the most effective antibiotic for dental infections.Most hospitals offer a dental clinic based on ability to pay or charity care. I believe I was prescribed these pills for an infected tooth. We'll I never took them and it's been several months now, I just cranked the same tooth.
