This is a narcotic pain reliever. ## I think thisis the say pill refered to above but want to make sure. It's oblong, white and scored ip than a line down the middle and 111. Is this hydrocodone? My mom keeps her medication in a pill box and i am trying to sort it all out. Thanks.

IP 111 on one side blank on the other....flat oblong in shape ## This tablet was manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they listed it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, and 5mgs of Hydrocodone. It was a narcotic analgesic used to treat pain, however, this dosage is no longer available on the U.S. market. Such combination prescription medications are now restricted to containing no more then 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. I have white oval shaped pills that were given to me & told they are generic Loratabs. On one side they are blank & the other side is scored with uppercase letters IP on the left side & on the right side are the numbers 111. Are these in fact generic Loratabs or something similiar? If so, what milligram? The pill is white and oblong in shape. On one side of the pill, there is an imprint of "IP". It's scored in the center, and on the other side, it is imprinted with "111". There is nothing on the opposite side of the pill. I have never received Vicodin that looks like this before. Could it perhaps be something else? ## The generic name for vicodin is hydrocodone. Did you pay less than you normally do for your prescriptions? ## I do not know the cost, I have 100% coverage. Yes, I have taken Vicodin before and yes, I know that Hydrocodone is Vicodin.
