Intractable Hiccups
Related topics are listed below.I have been on narcotics for 19yrs when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was hospitalized for 8 weeks. I was seeing someone for 9 yrs. She was shut down. I cant get my records and I need a new doctor. I live in Philadelphia. Can anyone help me? I have been in bef since then. I was given the name of another doctor in Jersey, but after 9 months he also was shut down. I am on SS Disability. I need help ASAP. ## Joann, of Phila. Im a resident of NJ. Mydr of over 17 yrs with intractable pain was a functioning human but in 2016 DEA shut down my dr. I like you can’t get any records. Went to NJ dr but without records they look at me as a Drug searcher. Im on SSI. Had surgery on my neck & leg saving surgery in 05 but when New dr looked at my rt leg scar that starts above knee goes ......
1 REPLYI had a spinal 3 level bone fusion. The fusion mass has deteriated to the point that you can see the original vertabrae are now visible on -rays. In addition I have stenosis of the canal that your spinal cord runs thru. at one point 70% blocked.i am in horrid pain, and i can supply all pertinent medical records u made need.Ray G. ## this site is not associated with any doctors and we have no way of knowing what type of patients they will treat, nor what treatments they may provide. I live in Nebraska and would like to find others here to advocate for the drs. to prescribe opiates to treat intractable pain. The drs. here will not treat pain with opiates and the so called laws of this state won't allow it. Why must you be dying in order to get pain meds? We are all dying and the cronic/intractable pain doews shorten ones life....
My husband has been taking this med for a virus. He will eat something small before taking b/c it upset his stomach. Shortly after taking he will get hiccups that will last for awhile. Can this med cause this and should he keep taking? ## First of all, Cephalexin is an antibiotic, so it is only effective against infections, it will not do anything for a virus, since it's not an antiviral medication. Did his doctor prescribe this? That is why antibiotics cannot be used to treat cold or the flu, because they are caused by viruses, not bacterial infections. Using them inappropriately causes the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. As to the hiccups, it is probably because they can cause some gas in some people, if he is taken it with small amounts of food and gulping a flu......
