I would like to know the pregnancy safety index of various Category X drugs along with the listed dosages and uses for each medication. ## Pregnancy category X are medications that are not considered safe to use during pregnancy, they have been shown to cause fetal abnormalities. Hello thank you for stopping by. I have a problem with my index finger on my left hand. when i bend it there seems to be a small bump where the PIP joint is. It is a bit swollen, numb, bruised, and a bit stiff, but no pain. During my school day I remember playing soccer, and accidentally banging my fingers on the table. I don't think this is a fracture. I spilt a boiling hot pan of water over my right hand I put it under cold running water for a long time off and on for over an hour in the morning my hand was ok but my index finger had swollen up to over twice the size I burst the bubble and have been putting savlon on it covered with a bandage I saw a nurse anwho dressed it and said no savlon or bandage but its now swollen up again. ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? When you say swollen, do you mean that it has filled with fluid, again? If so, that can be normal and is your body trying to protect the burned area. However, if it's got pus in it, that can be a sign of infection and you should consult your doctor, as explained by the NIH.

I have had my C-6 and 7 fused years ago and had pain releif from that. My symptom prior to rupture was dull pain in left scapula. After rupture, immense pain in scapula, left arm and numb index finger and thumb in left hand. After surgery, pain in back was gone and still had tingling and occasionally tip of left index finger went numb. Within this last year, my pain in scapula has returned and MRI shows moderate bulge in C-5 now. I have been taking oxycontin and oxycodone for the nearly 7 years. I have RSD/CRPS. I did have it in both legs with gross swelling. The burning sensation is indescribable and I am a 10 on the McGill Pain Index. I am fortunate that the pain is only in my right leg at this time. We, RSD, have a bulletin that is put out monthly. Currently we have no major movie stars suffering from this disease with the exceptions of( Paula Abdul and Audrey John-Celebrity Chef) so we get very little attention. It is an invisible disease that lacks the medical backing it deserve. It also ranks extremely high in the suicide category.
