Since Acetaminophen is also in the tablet with the Hydrocodone to potentiate it, you shouldn't add the Ibuprofen, unless your doctor says that it's safe for you to do so. I have been taking Hydrocodone/Ibuprofen 7.5-200mg tabs for over 10 years now for chronic pain from having my jaw smashed & back broken. The past two months I have received a different generic from Wallgreens with Actavis as the manufacturer and THEY DO NOT WORK. Absolute crap!! I tried taking more to get the same normal affect and now I have had nothing but major stomach issues and ears ringing. I am going to my Dr on Monday to discuss!! This is ridiculous!! My mom just had a knee replacement and is taking Hydrocodone. She is taking them every 4 hrs. The holidays are here and she has no refills, plus the doctor's office is closed. How many Ibuprofen can she take to equal the same amount, or is this even possible? ## It isn't possible. From what I've found they actually do make a combination of Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen under the following brand names: Vicoprofen, Reprexain, and Ibudone. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about trying one of these as an alternative to the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you have any concerns about it's potential cumulative effects on liver health with long term use? got from dentist prescription today AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY ARE SAFE TO TAKE TOGETHER.I GOT 8 TEETH EXTRACTED TODAY. ## The 5/500 one contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen and generally, the Acetaminophen shouldn't be mixed with the Ibuprofen, unless he specifically instructed you to use both. Can I take all three at da same time. The ibuprofen is 800 mg.the hydrocodone is 7.5.the pencilling is 600 Mg. ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone, and Penicillin; deeming them as safe to take together.
