Is it really norco? I just got my refill today and they are not working as well as my previous prescription. ## Hi Yaya, My research from the manufacturer depicts a white oval tablet marked with 2172 to be identified as a generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg pill. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 0591-2172 and is reportedly a product of Actavis Pharmaceuticals that from what I could gather, seems like a newer generic tablet since information about it is relatively sparse on the internet. This is 500mgs of Acetaminophen by itself, no narcotics. This is a generic or store brand of extra strength tylenol. ## Just an additional note, depending on where you looked you may have seen K30 listed as a narcotic because there used to be a small round codeine tablet with that marking but it has been discontinued and is no longer available. Caplet shaped pills with K30 are just Acetaminophen.

Im wondering why I would be able to take darvacett & percocetts but I cant take vicodin. Arent theese medications all the same? Would the fact that I have a codeine allergy make a difference?
