I have gallbladder pain and in taking 5/325 one bottle from hospital says take every 4 hours.. and my bottle from Doctor with same dosage says take every 6 hours I'm in pain I took my last ones at 7 pm cN I take more now??? I've been taking 2 at a time my Name is Lindsay ## Lindsay, Although the pdr lists 1-2 tablets by mouth every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. If your personal physicians only recommend 1 tablet every 4 or 6 hours I wouldn't exceed a total of 6 in a 24 hour period.If your pain level is so unmanageable you might consider being re-evaluated since a change in condition may have occurred . I just found out that my wife is trying to quit cold turkey hydrocodone that she has been taking for 7 years 325mg for her pain. she has only been off for 2 days and not feeling well at all I don't like the idea her going cold turkey. what should I be watching for? ## Hello, Baron! There is no 325mgs Hydrocodone, it usually comes in tablets coupled with Acetaminophen which would be the 325mgs, but the Hydrocodone would only be 5, 7.5 or 10. When I take the yellow Norco 10-325, I usually wait about 30 minutes till they take affect and most often feel somewhat energized and a bit more relaxed. When I take the P110 10-325 hydrocodone, I feel lethargic and often drowsy and sad. Why is there such a difference? ## Well, there can be some fluctuation in the amount of the active ingredients when go from a name brand, such as Norco, to a generic, like the one with the IP 110 marking. My husband has a dislocated hip waiting to get in to the Ortho Dr. His primary Dr. Prescribed tramadol 50 mg 1 to 2 every 6 to. 8 hrs. & hydrocodone 10/325 1 at 4 times a day. I made him a schedule of: 2 tramadol every 6 hrs. 1 hydro every 3 hrs and every hour & 1/2 1/2 a hydro. Most the time he goes to bed by 9 to 9:30. On average he's taking 4 to 5 hydro per day and 6 tramadol per day. I also set my clock for 2 am to give him 2 tramadol so that when he gets up at 5:30 he's not in a excruciating pain. Not long ago I was given by the pharmacy a Norco IP110. Where as I had pushed this bottle aside and forgot it, I was dumb. These are the same as M367 which is Norco, an opiate for pain relief. I as well was at my aunts and she had thrown about 50 of them away, as she thought they were generic tylenol from Walmart, though I had stopped her. My point is, when the pharmacy gives you NEW SHAPED pills and/or color etc., they often forget to post the bottle. I almost made a very big mistake. I take methadone hcl 10 MG tab for Fibromyalgia. I have hydrocortisone Apap 7.5 325MG tab as a backup to help when the pain gets too intense. But I'm out of town and I'm out of methadone. I have hydroco. My question to you is, how many hydroco do I need to take a day to equal to the methadone.
