I can't find anything that says what it is. The prescription is 60/200 mg of hydrocodone compound it is a capsule with no writing one part is clear the other is white! Just want to make sure it is a legit pill?? ## Where did you get it? There is no standard dosage of 60/200 available. The only way anyone would have this dosage would be if it were specially ordered by their doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. If that's the case, it would explain the plain capsules, since that's what they usually use. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

15 mg hydrocone in red capsule with a crown marking csei ## Is that the entire marking? There is no 15mg Hydrocodone that's regularly available on the U.S. market. It is only available in the manufactured products in a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone coupled with various strengths of Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here. If it's a 15mg capsule, then it would have to have been specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy and them, it wouldn't have a unique marking, it would just have whatever is on the capsules they use, if anything and it won't be listed in any databases because of that. Where was it found?

blue capsule ## There is no such thing as hydrocodone 100mg, and telling us that it is a blue capsue does not help, (unfortunately.) What is the imprint on the blue capsule? This will help us to identify it. ## I have been taking 100mg of Hydrocodone with 100mg of Tylenol for abt 6 years. It is compounded locally. Only compounded dose can come that high. I take 1 evry 8 hours. There are no markings on the capsule and there wont be for compounded meds. ## That is correct, the manufactured versions are only available in a max of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, however, some doctor's do use compounding pharmacies to have medications done for their patients in special amounts. It will still carry common side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Did you have any que...

We bought some street pills in Ensinada that were suppose to be Norco. They are long, white, oblong, and are marked with a capital P on one side and a capital AS on the other. Any info on what they are, don't want to take until verified. Thanks, badback ## I've done some searches in various databases, since I first saw your post a few days ago, but I'm sorry, I haven't been able to find anything on a tablet with these markings. Since it's a foreign pill, that makes it difficult, since they aren't required to log their imprints with the FDA. Learn more prescription drug details here. Does anyone recognize these tablets? I'll keep searching and post back when I find anything. ## Thank You, I do appreciate it, however I am not going to take them as I am sure the...

I was prescribed hydrocodone for a pinched nerve in my neck. I will have to take it awhile because my health insurance is insisting I undergo less invasive treatment before having the surgery my doctor recommends. Anyway, the first prescription I filled was for 5/325, an all white pill with an M marking. I was able to take those without problem. The second prescription I filled was white with red specks (same strength). About a half an hour after I took one of these pills, I started feeling ill. My heart was pounding and I had chest pains. Then I developed a mild case of hives. I notified my doctor and he switched me to oxycodone which was just too strong. I reported this and he rewrote for hydrocodone. I returned the oxycodone to the pharmacy as I had done with the white and red hydroc...

I USE HYDROCODONE APAP7.5-500 FOR CHRONIC 4 LUMBAR DISCS DUE TO A CAR ACCIDENT ( NOT AT FAULT) i WAS A PASSENGER. NEEDLESS TO SAY i HAVE BEEN SUFFERINGFOR 24 YRS. RIGHT NOW i HAVE SOME NHOW LOST MY MEDS AND I CANT REFILL BECUSE I JUST PICKED THEM UP O 5/29 I DONT'T KNOW WHAT TO DO , IT'S THE WEEKEND AND i AM IN SEVERE PAIN. IT DOSN'T TAKE THA PAIN OFF ALL THE WAY BUT AAI CAN MANAGE TO WALK AND SLEEP SOME OF THE PAIN. ## Unfortunately, there isn't much to be done. Due to the strict FDA crack down on doctors over-prescribing narcotics and trying to prevent their abuse, doctors usually will not refill any narcotic medications until they are actually due for a refill. If your pain gets too bad, you can try going to the emergency room and explaining what happened and why you ...

I'm confused on the red liquid hydrocodone. Two of My child had tonsils removed at different times. The 1st one got the liquid Lortab, that was yellow and thicker. And tje child that just had the same Surgery done got the liquid Lortab but its red. Can someone PLEASE tell me if its tje samething? Maybe just a different manufacturer? ## Hello, Connie! How are you? The color and viscosity doesn't actually mean anything, that's entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacture, so they may all be different. Learn more Lortab details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have relocated to the Auburn, Calif. area and am in dire need of a doctor who will pick up where my Florida pain management specialist - fellowship - left off. I need certain procedures done, such as heat ablasion every 6 months. I have been on 10-350mg Hydrocodone for 7 years after a fall backwards from steps onto cement, which resulted in a coma, 9 days in the hospital learning to walk after 4 vertebroplasties. I have degenerative disc disease, degenerative severe osteoarthritis, 2 lumbars touching, and much more! I am a senior, and was reduced from 4 pills a day, like everyone else, to 3. The 4 just took the edge off the pain. I need these to WALK and have a semi-normal life. They work for me! I feel nothing else from these pills and am so against the new legislation. The rule-makers

How are you? The withdrawal effects may last for a couple of weeks, perhaps up to a month. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, diarrhea, fever, chills and anxiety. Godsaven, it can vary from person to person, while Oxycodone does work well for some people, that is not t...

I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. Is there any truth to this or what is the problem? ## Nok that is not true, if you receive them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, everything they dispense must meet the same FDA efficacy standards. It is warned that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and ...

I'm taking hydrocone 7.5-325 and amox-clav 875mg for abscessed tooth... Is it safe to do activities which raise your heart rate while taking this medicine and fighting off the infection? ## Hi Bridget! It's your choice. NO HARM done! ## @Bridget, This is just my own opinion, but unless you have already been diagnosed with a pre-existing heart condition, I wouldn't even think twice worrying about that. The momentary increase in heart rate that's associated with physical activity... even if you are not used to exercising regularly and keeping your heart rate in check, there's usually no harm in something like this/unless you were to inflict it upon yourself in some way, shape, or form. How long does your doctor have you on those medications for?

on one side it sendes watson 387 ## Can this medication cause constipation.? prescribed for pain relief. ## This tablet contains 750mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, Lortab or Norco. And yes, it is a narcotic pain reliever, so constipation can be one of its side effects, along with dizziness, drowsiness and nausea. Learn more Lortab details here. An additional note to add is that the FDA has requested that all such medications be changed to lower the dosage of the Acetaminophen in them to a maximum of only 325mgs, due to the danger associated with its toxicity and overdose. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement this change and the rest are expected to have done so by January 2014. Thus, at any future point, anyone looking for...

have a pink almost oval pill with M or W on one side, the other side just has a slash down middle, possibly foreign. my mom says it is hydrocodone 10, any idea. ## Hi, Lowwey! Where did you find it? I've done some searching, but haven't found anything that matches this, so far. If it's foreign, that could explain, since most other countries don't have an imprint requirement like the U.S. and Canada. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep looking and post back when I have information for you.

Red capsule with no markings? Are they legit? ## Hello, Lizzie! How are you? It is very doubtful. Any manufactured prescription products in the U.S. are required to have unique markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy and they usually use plain capsules, since they are cheaper. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, what you have is most likely some type of over the counter product. Does anyone else know more about these?

this dose was prescribed by my pain Dr for ra. I do not tolerate any of the oxy drugslike Percocet I hallucinate. theprescribed dose of hydrocodone is not cutting the pain. it's ok to take another if I'm still in pain after one hour? ## If your meds aren't working, talk to the pharmacy first. Ask if they changed manufacturer? Keep a ear out for aurobindo or aurolife.... They seem to be defective....but I won't know till I get independent lab work done. 2nd, call your doc..hell email if you have to, but please! Don't ever go against what's prescribed to you! Its not such a hot idea. Good luck! :-) ## I agree with what post #1 had suggested in regards to contacting the pharmacy as well as your doctor first. There are a number of different manufacturers of this medi...

This is a grey and yellow capsule with no markings on it. Suppose to be hydrocodone 20 mg. is this true ## If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to determine what it contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, since the 20mg dosage is not a standard one available, it might have been something that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. These products wouldn't have any markings and would be in capsule form. Where was it found/obtained?

If i add water to fill the bottle up more in liquid hydrocodine will it be noticeable that i added water to it? ## It most likely will be, because it will affect it in three ways. It can thin out the consistency of it, it can dilute the flavor and it can also dilute the color, so it's usually very noticeable when such a thing is done. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. Add to that the fact that you're going to be lowering the dosage in the given amount, so it won't work as well and it's just not something you can easily get away with. Are there any other questions or comments?

I filled the prescription as I have done for the last several years. Got a yellow tablet with 10 98 on one side and a V on the other. It does not work. I took 3 tablets in one hour (usual dose is one tablet) with no results. Could have been taking water. Label shows it to be from PAR P company. Is this fake or what? ## Is the marking possibly 3601 V? If so, the tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. NDC: 00603-3887 This is an opioid analgesic that carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. So no, it is not fake. However, if you have been taking the same dose for years, your body may have become used to it, so it may not work as well for you, anymore. Have you informed...

Hello, I'm wondering if it would be OK to take 2 hydrocodone/Acetaminophine 10/300 at one time. Has anyone done this? I used to take 2 5/300 when my pain was excruciating and my Dr increased my dosage, so I wouldn't have to take two pills. ## Hello, Jules! How are you? It is sometimes prescribed that way, take one or two tablets as needed, but it would be best not to do so, without your doctor's approval. If you aren't opiate tolerant, it could cause an overdose, which may put you in danger. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Well, thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate it. I've been on...
