Hello and first thank you for any helpful replies. I just moved to SoCal from NorCal and cannot find a pharmacy that carries generic Actavis 30mg IR Oxycodone. It has been my experience that generics made by KVK and Mallinekrodt make me sick. My doctor has heard other patients say this about Actavis products working better and the pharmacist I spoke to said it could be different binders/fillers/dyes that could be making me sick even though they are supposed to be inert. I am in Tennessee, and have been prescribed Suboxone 8/2mg ratio, and was told that the blister packs are the best for people I tried the Amneal orange generic, and it didn't work as well as the white ones I have had in the past. If you know of any pharmacy that carries them please let me know. It said cvs carried them, but I went to five different cvs and they told me "we are not accepting new patients for that drug", so cvs is out and it's the only one I knew that carried the brand manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals, recently acquired by Teva pharmaceuticals. I used to take Norco 10/325 for chronic pain by Watson, but Watson was bought out by Actavis. Wow, the difference in pain control went from 10 to zero. All Walgreens and CVS pharmacy's only carry Actavis, so I called around and finally found the generic that works even better than Watson's, and that's Mallinckrodt, at least for me. Most hospital pharmacies carry Mallinckrodt. Amneal, Qualitest and so many other manufacturers are absolute garbage! I was advised by Par Pharmaceutical that Qualitest lorazepam 1mg had been discontinued and no longer distributed. Is this true? Qualitest lorazepam was the only sedative that works for me. Watson, Actavis causes serious side effects (panic attack, more anxiety, dehydration, asthma, heart pounding, can't sleep) with no effectiveness. (no calming effect) Ativan works but it's too expensive ($2500 for 30 ea lorazepam 1mg) and my insurance does not cover it and most pharmacies do not deal with brand Ativan and most insurance do not want to pay it.
