How Many Mg 10 Meq

3 Topics Found

My wife was prescribed potassium years ago. Does not remember mg or meq.We assume it was 10or 20 meq.She is now taking Oct potassium 99mg.How many 99mg would she take to get 10meq? She is diabetic and keeps it under control. ## Hello, Nick! How are you? There is no actual conversion for this, these 99mg over the counter potassium supplements aren't even close to the amount available in the prescription tablets. Additionally, it is not safe to take that much, unless her doctors has said she is dangerously low in it and needs to supplement it. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can anyone tell me how many mgs are in the KlorCon M10 ER tablet? I am trying to compare it to the 1500 mg in a Pot Chlor ER tablet 20meq. ## The Klor-Con M10 ER is listed as being equivalent to 750mgs, or 10meqs, so it's half the dosage of the one you are comparing it to. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is there another potassium medication like "Klor con m10 er meq" that doesn't have polyethylene glycol in it?

White oval pill with writing that says W 1715 on it, what is it? ## The pill in description is Potassium Chloride SR (10 MEQ/750 mg). Potassium chloride has many uses such as being a sodium-free substitute for table salt (sodium chloride). Research I have gathered states that this pill works by providing a direct replacement of potassium in the body. Potassium chloride is in the class of drugs called potassium supplements that are used to prevent hypokalaemia. NOTE: Orally, KCl is toxic in excess.
