I took 4 mg of a D at 11:00 am and took my last Vicodin 5/325 at 5:00 pm. How long should I wait to take 2 mg of Suboxone tomorrow? I usually start feeling mild withdrawals at 4 am. I've only been taking subs for the last 2 days roughly at maybe 8-10mg for those couple of days. How long should I wait until I take oxycodone to make sure the effects actually work. I have no other history with suboxone and the last time I took any oxycodone was a little over 2 weeks ago. I would say my metabolism is above average. However, I just don't want to waste the 15mg of oxycodone that I do have. I have been prescribed to suboxone for 3 years and I haven't taken it in 2 days. I don't regularly use opiates but I have taken 30 mg. of hydrocodone in the past 12 hours. Help! I've been on suboxone for 3 years and havent really had any relapses, especially in the last year. I have the flu of death currently and couldn't resist my mom offering me two of her lortab 10 mgs. That was about 12 hours ago. It,s on the high end of a Drs. prescribed dose. Wanted to say I just came out of precipitated withdrawal! What holy hell! I have been on methadone for 6 years taking 115 mlg daily & got myself down to 50 mlg for 2 weeks, waited more than 72 hours, then took 2mlg suboxone. I was fine. Not better, just not worse. Following my doc's orders, I took another 2mlg 90 mins later. Ok, then took another 2mlg after 90 min and oh my god. Almost instantly threw me into precipitated withdrawal! I'm quiting Opana using Suboxone. I've gradually come down from Opana ER 40 mg to 10 mg over a period of 6 months, and am switching today to Suboxone film. Dr told me to wait 24 to 36 hrs before starting Subs (wait till I can't stand the withdrawals any longer). I'm going to make this very clear - do not take suboxone until you're feeling every one of the withdrawal symptoms. My husband and I have been prescribed opiates for almost ten years w/ morphine er 60mg 2*per day each for 4 years but I wish the dr n pharmacy would have been more demanding and stress to wait til you're in full wd before taking subs and they didn't say at all that morphine is the worst cuz it binds to your receptors long-term.
