oxycodone withdrawl
Day 3 and the devil is still just sitting on my shoulder....I can't beleive how well I am actually feeling...Am I kidding myself, or could the worst still come? Over the last 7 years, I have been on morphine, percs, dilauded, etc, etc. Three days ago my oxy mg was 140 a day...What's up? Please help? ## In my opinion, It depends on how you are feeling now. the worst could be over. However, the devil will always be there from now on. You have to remember that only you and GOD can shake him off. Along with a good support system you can get rid of any addiction, just always remind yourself that you are strongger than any drug that man can make. GOD BLESS YOU, and remind the devil that you have GOD on your side from now on. ## It is also highly possible, that since you were taking th... ...

Oxycodone withdrawls
Can dilaudid help oxycodone withdrawls? I had surgery and my prescriptions got all messed up in the process. I take atleast 250mgs a day and now I have withdrawls cause I can't fill my perscription for 10 days. Please help! ## yes dilaudid will help with oxycodone withdrawals but there is a problem with dilaudid you can eat and get unsick but to get the real bang you have to abuse them and alot of people start just by doing it one time then cant stop because it is the best high you can have just being honest ## Dilaudid is just another narcotic, so yes it can help, but you do need to be careful not to take too much of it, or you run the risk of overdose. 5 mg oxycodone withdrawal
Was on Norco 10-325 on and off for a few years due to back problems. Had l4/l5 Laminectomy and was sent home with 5mg oxicodone. It's been 16 days since surgery and I tapered down from 2.5 yesterday. Last one last night at 10 pm. Withdrawals kicked in at 2:30 pm today! Not too bad. But the abdominal pain is bad when the immodium wears off. How long will this last and will it get better or worse physically tomorrow and the next day? No RLS yet. Is it comming???? I want to be done! ## Just wondering how your withdrawal experience went? I weaned the exact same way Im down to 2.5 mg tomorrow for two days then Im done. Just curious what Im in for?! ## I found the rebound pain to be the worst problem, when I stopped pain management, but I didn't taper. I just stopped. But I had extrem... ...

10 mg oxycodone withdrawal
Ive been taking 20 mg oxycodone daily for the past 6 months just to take the edge off, didnt think it would be that big of a deal because Im not very familiar with the drug. Before that i was a heavy H addict for 13 years, but have been clean for the past year after going through a 2 year program at a commune. The last 2 days Ive been taking half a pill (5 mg) early in the day before work, than another 5 mg after work to somehow get throught the day. I got 3 days to myself now. I know its not comparable to the numerous weeks, months and years of withdrawals Ive gone through but its always messed up kicking this. What are the best household remedies i can use and can i get off this garbage in these 3 days? ## Hello, Quickz! If you're down that low, the withdrawals at this point shoul... ...

Oxycodone withdrawal help
Have been using opiets for over 35 years. Started with auto accident. Doctor prescribed over a long period then passed away. Was addicted and had to purchase illegally locally. Now still having problem with addiction and paying most of my SSI and Retirement for what I can get. Went to a mandatory class in Elizabeth City, NC several times weekly just to be able to get prescription for Suboxone. It worked but got tired of sitting 3 hours in class with young people and now back on the hard stuff. Why can one purchase cigarettes and liquor that kills but I can't get the necessary drugs to make me feel normal. Is there any help in sight? ## One of the many flaws of this country is how our federal government controls and regulates whatever it is they "consider" to be safe and disr... ...

Mandated oxycodone withdrawl
I must of posted my problem somewhere else on this site, sorry but I can not think straight. For 6 years I have taken oxy's for RSD. Something I never heard of in my life until after 4 surgeries, including titanium cage, in a period of less than 2 years I developed firery burning sensation in right thigh. The edema made my legs look like tree trunks. Nothing could touch that leg. Being a female I was able to switch to wearing skirts and sleeping with blankets held up with a contraption. No matter how much Vicodin or hydrcodone I was given nothing touched the pain. When, for those of you who can remember, I became like Linda Blair in the Exorcist, screaming I was on fire and feeling like my head was spinning around. I was taken to psychotherapist ( Dr's who study pain for additio... ...

How Long Does it take for fentanyl 25 mcg withdrawals to start and stop
i have been on fentanyl 25mcg for about a yr. i am decreasing to 12.5 mcg for a week and then no more patches after. how long will it take to considering the info. will it take for the withdrawal to start and stop. i understand everyone is different. i will be taking valium 5mg for a couple days to ease the effects. any info would be great. ## Yes, everyone is different, so it really makes it hard to say, because it is going to vary. I stopped heavy doses of Oxycodone and Morphine cold turkey, after being on them for about 6 or 7 years for pain management and my withdrawal symptoms lasted for about a month. Hopefully the Valium will help. Has your doctor given you any other advice? ## Thanks for ur info. Several yrs ago I stopped fiorcet w codeine (on it for 4 yrs) and it took about tha... ...

Oxycodone Vs Fentanyl Withdrawals
I have just switched from oxycodone to fentanyl patches. I will be withdrawing from them following sugery. any suggestions as to which is easier to withdraw from? Thanks!!! ## Well, the Fentanyl is actually much stronger than the Oxycodone, a 0.025mg dosage of it is equal to 5mgs of Oxycodone, so it is going to be the harder one to withdraw from, if it is stopped abruptly. However, the other fact of relevance is how long you will be using it. If it is only for a short period of time, them the withdrawals may not be too rough, though they may still be annoying. Has your doctor provided you with any advice? ## i have been on fentanyl for a long time. prior to this was on a bunch of oxycodone. to give you an idea i was taking anywhere to 3 or 4 of the 80s per day and 5 or 6 of the Roxi 30s... ...

How Long Do I Have To Wait Take Suboxone after taking 10mg oxycodone
How Long Do I Have To Wait Take Suboxone after taking 10mg oxycodone so i dont go into precipitated withdrawals? ## You have to be in full withdrawal from all other opiates, before you can safely take Suboxone. Learn more Suboxone details here. The precise time that happens can vary from person to person, depending on their own body, how much of the given drug(s) they were taking and other factors. It's a very fine line, because taking it too soon can throw you into withdrawals, but you have to be full in them, before it's safe. Are there any other questions or comments? ## how long does it take oxycodone to be metabolized by the body after taking 10 mgs one time. ## I'm taking suboxone can I take a 15 mg of morphine I took it befor the sub and only asking because I still ne... ...

im on 2mg oxycodone will withdrawal be bad for me
I have weened down to 2mg oxycodone every 6 hours how bad will I feel when I stop in a few days ## At that low of a dose, the withdrawal and rebound effects should be minimal, but much of it really depends on your body and how it reacts. How long have you been down to this low of a dosage? Have you consulted your doctor for assistance? The rebound type effects usually involve pain that may be worse than the pain you were taking it to treat and the withdrawal effects can include nausea, dizziness and diarrhea. ...

Withdrawal from dilaudids
Hey everyone, im recently cutting down from 16mg of dilaudid every 3-4 hrs to im at 4mg every 4 hrs now. Ive been on dilaudid for 10 months for a tumor that went undiagnosed for 8 months. Most doctors thought i was just drug seeking because they couldnt find out what was causing my pain, so im relieved they finally found something and i had it removed and i feel so much better. Now all my other problems are solved except for the dilaudid dependance. Any tips on getting off this stuff. It gets extremely unbearable after just 5 hours from the last dose. I know i dont need it for pain anymore, i just want to be off everything and back to normal. Any help would be appreciated ## Hey, that's all normal. I'm in the same boat but w/oxycodone. Withdrawals - help from Fentanyl
I was on liquid Methadone for chronic pain for years and while on waiting list to switch to a new Pain center, I was weaning off methadone rapidly at 2mgs a day from 120 to 38mg. I was also on 20 to 40 mgs a day oxycodone for breakthrough pain. Now, last month, my new doc put me on 25mcg/h patch. Yesterday, he informed me that I am now ONLY getting pain management from him (understandable) and cut me off and did not prescribe any more oxycodone and I was to stop at 38mgs methadone. Bottom line, will a 50mcg/h patch I started today be enough for my pain and withdrawals? I am scared. ## Did you discuss your concerns with him? The Fentanyl is a very strong narcotic, over 80 times stronger than Morphine actually, but while it can handle pain very well, you may still experience some breakthr... ...

How to help getting off Oxycodonez
I am currently in rehab recovering from back surgery. I had three herniated disk in my back. My surgeon preformed Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion surgery. I have been on 2 mg of Oxycodone every four hours around the clock for two months. I am a former heron user and have been clean for 7 years. I tried delaying taking my meds but after 5 to 6 hours, my withdrawal becomes too much. I cannot get the doctors here to understand how drugs effect me as an ex addict. This will not for be nor will I take that chance with my life. It has been great for the past 7 years after 20 years of being addicted. These places give people this drugs and have to plan other than to cut down the dose. I am going to be released in two weeks and have to return to work. See Oxycodone
Where can I fill my Florida prescription of 30mg oxycodone in Boston MA? ## I am sorry to say it, but I don't think you're in for an easy task. Due to the difficulties that may be involved with conforming the legitimacy of the prescription and tracking it, most pharmacies will not fill out of state prescriptions. In many areas, they won't even fill them from outside of the county, or immediate area. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Does anyone have any suggestions to make? ## I'm trying to think of more ideas to help you. Is it possible for you to see a local doctor there? Another alternative would be to go to a local ER, where they have to help you if you are in pain/withdrawals. They might at least give you enough of a prescription to get you through until you get ho... ...

Oxycodone Tolerance
Question? I have been on oxy 30's for almost two years now. My body has built up a tolerance to it now. I used to look forward to taking it because it gave me the euphoric feeling and I was "happy" after taking it. Now my tolerance level is at taking 5 pills or 150mg. What can I do to get my tolerance down. I also have this med called suboxone which I take when I run out. I am thinking of stopping the meds altogether. I must say that I feel better off the oxys. I am not addicted to it but if I continue I could be. The only thing that keeps me from it is I am scared to die so I won't do anything for the euphoria. However, after taking the suboxone, I always feel better. It also provides a euphoric feeling that is great and it works great for the withdrawal symptoms. So I ... ...

Will I get Withdrawl symptoms when I stop taking oxycodone, but continue taking morphine.
I take 9 oxycodone 10/325mg and morphine sulfate 60mg 2 times a day. My insurance changed and I was denied my prescription of oxycodone due to Doctors Authorization. Will I get withdral symptoms even though I am still taking the morphine sulfate? ## Hello, Mariposa! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, you may experience some withdrawal symptoms, because Oxycodone is actually stronger than Morphine, plus your body is used to having that additional level of narcotic. Have you contacted your doctor about correcting the issue? ## Yes I have contacted the doctors office, the office staff is rude and will not forward a message to the doctor. I made an appointment to speak with him on the 20th. I think I am going to try a different medication. ...
