I've been on methadone now for 2 1/2 years starting at 10 mls going to 110 now at 48. I have been losing my teeth and nails and my bones have been cracking and breaking ( literally ). I am wondering if anyone else has been going through this? ## Has this only been happening since you started taking the methadone? I've honestly never heard of this happening to anyone, but it may also be a good idea to get blood work done to check and see if you may be deficient in any nutrients. These precautions state that taking the two together may cause side effects such as breathing problems (i.e. feeling short of breath) as well as pale blue nails/skin that may require immediate medical attention. I NEED ANSWERS ASAP PLEASE!!! I have a condition known as compulsive skin picking disorder. When I get nervous or stressed I pick at places I can feel with my hands anywhere on my arms, face and neck until it makes sores. Just like how someone else would bite their nails.
