Hi, im Tk and i have been taking 15mg oxycodone for about 5 years at 4 to 6 a day and tramadol 300mg once a day for a neck surgery i had with fusion c6 c7. I have bad nerve damage in my right arm and alot of pain from both, plus have a metal plate for my right orbital. I work in a very heavy lifting job and going out on disability is not an option. I am still kinda young and dont wanna not be able to not work but i definitely push myself everyday. It is so hard some days but i want to stop taking both and just deal with the pain i have or try other options because i already know i am addicted and have a dependency because i go through bad WDs if i run out early. I am currently in rehab recovering from back surgery. I had three herniated disk in my back. My surgeon preformed Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion surgery. I have been on 2 mg of Oxycodone every four hours around the clock for two months. I am a former heron user and have been clean for 7 years. I tried delaying taking my meds but after 5 to 6 hours, my withdrawal becomes too much. I cannot get the doctors here to understand how drugs effect me as an ex addict. How long will it take to get off of 150 mgs. Of oxy daily by useing 10mg. Methadone without withdrawal I've been on the oxy for almost a year any suggestions? ## Wish I could help you man. Never detoxed specifically with methadone, however I have had plenty experiences detoxing cold turkey in between scripts. If you want to go that route it will take 1-3 days and it will not be very pleasant. Best you can do is try to sleep through most of it. I have had to use suboxone to detox before and it was pretty much the same thing except the suboxone really helped me sleep a lot easier. I have been on Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG, taking 4 daily for about a year for back problems. Recently I ran out for a couple of days and have been feeling like I am going through detox. My doctor has been out of office until tomorrow. My wife has a script of Butalbital/Acetaminophen/Caffeine/Codeine 50-300-40-30. Could I take one of these to take the edge off until tomorrow? ## The closest ingredient related is the Codeine, but it is much weaker than Oxycodone, it is a very mild opiate. I'm wondering if I'll have any kind of withdrawals going from 120 mg of Oxycodone a day down to 60 mg a day or will things be fine since I'll still have it in my system? ## Yes, you will likely experience some minor withdrawal effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, rebound pain and chills. Well unfortunately I really messed up and started taking OC twice a day 12 hours a part. I worked my way up to taking 40-60 mg in the morning and 80 mgs at night. i originally started using after severe depression and anxiety and wanting to feel better to fill an emotional void left by a really bad year in my life which led me to start using. No BS here, I wanted to feel better and unfortunately started using and am on week 14 of my addiction. I've been on methadone 15yrs. I need to get off. I'm in pain management for a back injury and the methadone is blocking my percocet. How can I get off methadone? ## I am on both Methadone and oxycodone for pain. As long as you take your oxycodone about 45 minutes before your dose of Methadone and eat about a half an hour after after you take your Methadone, your medication will work as it is supposed to. Follow the same pattern if you take several doses of both medications a day, like I do. Just always make sure you take the oxycodone first, because it sets the tone for the day. I alternate between both and it works amazing. Good luck.

don't know much about it. Was given after cervical fusion c6-7, curious about its ability to reduce withdrawal after use of months opiates, either oxycodone or hydrocodone for neck and arm pain, for me it had some benefit in that it stopped anxiety enough to rest post surgery but I was getting low dosage opiate and was slow to come out of anesthesia. This was 15 years ago. Is this still used? are there better ways? It seems like I was angry to reduce so quickly since I was cooperative and congruent with goal of opiate free but It seemed like a very difficult process anyway. I have had the pleasure of eating 15 - 20 Percocet 30 every day for the past month. Well, my luck, and money has run out. I am hurting and don't have anything to fall back on. Last night I got my hands on 20 M362 Percocet ( the big white pills that have 10 mg hydrocodyne + 660mg acetaminophen ) and 20 Adderall COT 135. I also have 4 N8 Saboxine pills. How can I safely titrate off Percocet? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? And how much have you been taking and how often? Since it does contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, it can cause withdrawal symptoms, if you stop abruptly, so it is usually a good idea to taper slowly to prevent the worst of them and, it may sometimes require some supportive therapy, because you may experience rebound pain, diarrhea, anxiety and trouble sleeping.

Hello, I have been on Oxycodone for two and a half years. I take 80 mgs for a bad back and recent gall bladder surgery that went horrible. Because I have such a high tolorance for the Oxycodone. I now get no feeling and it is starting not to work. What can I do to rid my body of this medication so that I can bring the work part of it back and the euphoria as well! ## The only way to really do that would be to stop taking it for a period of time, which may mean several months, or longer, since you have been taking it for such a long time. I have had back problems for years and I am sick of being a slave to opioids. I used to go to a sports medicine doctor that would prescribe 120 norco's a month and at the same time started to go to a pain management doctor so that I would not run out of meds. The pain management doctor prescribed oxycodone 10's qty 120 per month. Believe it or not by 3.5 months I was going thru 120 norco's and 120 oxycodones in 2 weeks. As to detoxing, if you have experienced seizures before, you should probably look into a safe alternative, such as treatment with Suboxone. It contains Buprenoprhine and Naloxone.
