Can taking these meds at different times of the day cause increased aggressive behavior? ## I'm doubtful that the time of day they are taken has much to do with it, since aggression, irritability, nervousness, and anxiety can be normal side effects of these medications. Concerta and Guanfacine information. If the issue is severe enough to be causing problems, then they patient's doctor should be consulted, as they may need to try different doses, or different medications entirely. All of the drug monographs I've seen for this particular pill made by Actavis don't really go into much detail other than the size (8mm), shape (round), color (orange), and imprint (WATSON 453). Are guanfacine hcl and guanfacine the same? Do they react the same in the body? Do they last/work for the same amount of time? My son has been taking guanfacine HCl for over a year for his ADHD and anxiety. We visited new pharmacy and the pills look different and the label reads guanfacine. My daughter takes 1/2 of a 1 mg pill of guanfacine in a.m. and other half in p.m. Can I give her a vitamin called On Task Naturally? It is 120mg vit C, 50mg vit B6, 200mg Magnesium, 15mg Zinc. The guanfacine has helped with her hyperactivity, but her mental focus.hasnt improved much. Dont wanna increase guanfacine dose due to sleepiness. We used the "on task" previously, and it worked well for awhile, but then plateaued. My ins. Won't pay for my bp medicine anymore. I have been on Guanfacine for 15 years. My Dr. Changed me to Losartan Potassium 50 mg. is there a big difference in the medicine?
