Grilinctus Bm Syrup

My kid aged 4 years is suffering from cough specially when he gets up in the morning. Basic reason was cold, then he had cough and fever. Our doctor prescribed crocin dosage of 7.5ml each time he had fever and Grilinctus_BM (paediatric)for cough 3.75ml 3 times a day. Temperature became normal in 2 days. Then cough didn't stop and still I'm continuing the same cough syrup. ILots of mucus he spits out each time he coughs still he is not coming out of it. He is active,eats good. Is this cough syrup safe? Can I continue giving it? ## Whay my my dease? I have been suffering from a dry cough for the last six months. Normally I don't have a problem but when I speak too much or when my throat has much to do, I start coughing. Will this syrup help me? ## Grilinctus-BM contains the active ingredients Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg and Terbutaline 2.5 mg. It is commonly used to help treat or prevent asthma attacks and as a bronchodilator. That said, not this is not a cough suppressant, so it will probably not help with your problem.
