What is a green and yellow oval capsule marked 44 357? ## i have a blue oblong pill with 44-357 on one side and nothing apparent on the other. does anyone know what it is? ## This pill appears to be Safeway brand Nighttime Sleep aid (compare to Simply Sleep.) Each pill is 25mg active ingredient (diphenhydramine HCL.) ## Actually it isn't even close to being a sleeping pill. If you take enough you'll sleep, but that's not recommended at all. It's actually loricet 10, which is a pain pill for moderate to severe pain and is considered a narcotic. ## Brandi, im not sure if you're sane or not, but i have the same pills. 25 mg diphenhydramine which is regular strength generic sleep aid.
