Sir, Can daily usage of Pioz-75 lead to hypoglycemia? Is metformin 250 mg safer than Pioz-75? ## There is no way to say that one is safer than the other, it really depends on which one works best for you, without making you sick or causing undesirable side effects. As reported by the NIH, both of them could cause hypoglycemia as a side effect, others may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and flatulence. Is there anything else I can help with?

need to obtain a Precision QID Glucometer for Diabetes Care. Where can I go to find one? ## Hello, Mile! How are you? I'm sorry, but I've not been able to find a listing of which pharmacies carry this. However, you should be able to just call them and ask. It's not like this is a controlled substance, so there shouldn't be a problem giving you an answer over the phone. Has anyone seen these anywhere?

I am non diabetic but obese 48-year-old female. My doctor gave me Glucomet 500 mg half tablet morning and half tablet in the night for weight reduction. Is it safe for a non diabetic to take diabetic medicine? ## HI, Malathi! Yes, it's safe as long as your doctor is going to be supervising you regularly. When it's used in such cases, it's due to your doctor suspecting that you may be insulin resistant, thus an antidiabetic medication may help improve your situation and enable you to lose weight. You may experience some side effects from it, such as nausea, headache and flatulence. Is there anything else I can help with?
