Generic Vicodin 750

Vicodin ES ## Hello, The generic for any Vicodin would be a combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. I have found a generic Vicodin from Watson laboratories that contains (750 mg) of Acetaminophen and (7.5 mg) of Hydrocodone-just like the Vicodin ES. It is a white elliptical/oval pill with the imprint WATSON 387 on the front and a score/line on the back. Also- Just in case you're not aware- if a medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. There may be 1 pill with 100% of the active ingredient, but the rest may be a lot weaker. Oblong pill marked Watson 387 and scored on the other side. Also smaller oblong marked Watson 359 and scored. Are these hydrocodone? ## Hello, Bill! How are you? Watson Pharmaceuticals lists the one with the 387 marking as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen, this one is no longer manufactured, because the FDA mandated that the dose of Acetaminophen in all combination medications be lowered to no more than 325mgs per dose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As to the other tablet, there is nothing listed with 359 on it. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thank you!

It is generic lorcet 10-650. Just picked up a script. About the same as lortab 10, norco 10. And has less acetaminophen than vicodin. ## No, it doesn't have less Acetaminophen, considering this has one of the highest doses of it that's presently available in these combination medications, so I'm not sure who told you that. The most commonly prescribed doses of this narcotic medication contain 325mgs or 500mgs of Acetaminophen and this one has 650 mg. There is only one that's higher than this and it has 750mgs in it. However, what should be noted here is that soon all doses over 325mgs will be removed from the market in regards to these combination prescription products. v on one side and 4212 ## This is NOT Vicodin! This is Methocarbamol 750mgs, a generic for Robaxin which is a muscle relaxant. Not all pills with a V are Vicodin, that it just a drug company logo! ## i was given some pills and he told me the were muscle relaxers but they didnt look like the ones i had been prescribed.... i thought they were vicodin b/c of the v. thanks for ur usefull info! ## having just taken 4 of these today thinking they WERE Vicodin, my carelessness, but I so wish they would change the color, or something, to make it easier to tell them apart. I have been prescribed Vicodin 7.5 es for herniated disk in my neck and back. I got my prescription filled at Walmart and I got M360 pills. I find those ineffective. Does Watson make a generic 750/325ES If not why? Because all I can fine so far is the generic of 750/500 and would like to use less than 500. ## The ES stands for extra strength, so any version of this medication with the ES designation is going to have more Acetaminophen in it, since that's the intent. And yes, Watson actually does make a 7.5/325mg tablet. It is oval and peach in color with the marking WATSON over 3203 on one side and a score line on the opposite side of the tablet.
