anyone else taking generic tylenol 4 made by teva? my pharmacy just switched brands and taking ONE feels like i'm taking FOUR. but that's only every third pill... they dont feel consistent but regardless they feel WAYYYY over the regular strength of codeine. it feels like i'm taking codiene and vicodin at the same timme and i hate it. ## Is there any chance that the times when it seems to hit stronger are also times where you might have eaten less, or not eaten anything yet? If Tylenol #3 has 30mg of codeine, why are the other meds with 10 mg stronger? ## There are so many generics available for these, now, plus the fact that Codeine is so mild compared to other pain treatment mediations, that there isn't really any name brand for most of them, anymore. They are generally prescribed as Acetaminophen with Codeine, with the appropriate dosages listed. I have had to take generic tylenol 4 for a while since drs cant prescribe anything else. DEA fears I suppose... Surprise, yet a new generic brand aurobindo pharma...Not good!!! Norco is the brand name by Watson for 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen, they also make the generic. Norco is yellow in color and caplet shaped.Originally it was only 10mg, now it's 7.5 and 5, hydrocodone and the same Tylenol in all. Has no codiene in it. I've been taking Tylenol 4 for a little while and I've noticed if I don't take my anxiety medication with it my body doesn't feel right I feel like it's on fire plus I'm very nervous. I have chronic spine and hip pain from scoliosis and fibromyalgia. I took Vicodin for several years back when it did not have a generic and it did a good job for pain relief. The generic, Hydrocodone, supposedly has the same exact ingredient of codeine in the 5-300 cap, but does not give me pain relief. Do you think if I switched to Tylenol #3, which does NOT have a generic, that it's level of codeine would work better for pain relief? Yellow round pill ## med size round light yellow pill with W89 on one side and Wilshire on the other side ## From what I have been able to gather this appears to be a product manufactured by Wilshire Labs (Pvt) Limited in Pakistan. I am not 100% sure what the active ingredients are, but there is a good chance that they contain Acetaminophen 500 mg + Codeine 30 mg (generic for Tylenol No 3). Hope this helps!
