If you are such a large pharmaceutical company, how could it be possible that no pharmacy, in all of Tulare County, Ca. has any Carisoprodol, 350 mg, which is a Qualitest generic for Soma, in stock whatsoever? Their same reply to me continues to be, "They're on back order & we don't know when we'll get them in." I have been taking Soma only when needed since the 80's & have now been without them for well over a month!! When I am having one of my excruciating muscle spasms, these have always been the only pills that work but since being without them I am left to my last resort of taking pain pills which are not meant to relax muscles, so I have to take a double dose, which knocks me out & is the only way to stop the spasms without my usual Soma! Any in...

Where is a safe place to fill my Soma rx with the Watson brand, (Dan Brand), or Qualitest Brand manufactured in the USA? ## If you're searching online, I think your best bet for finding reputable online pharmacies that can fill your prescription, would be to see the list which the NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) maintains through their VIPPS certification. You can see the following page for more detail: nabp.pharmacy/programs/vipps/vipps-accredited-pharmacies-list/

I want to know the chemical content of Somazina tablet and its generic drug ## The chemical and generic name would be the same thing and that is the active ingredient Citiclone, it's believed to help with memory impairment and cognitive function. I ordered some soma and I received foil sealed 10 packs of Cariflan. It also states Carisopodol 350 MG on the foil. I have never heard of it.It is a white pill with no markings. Can anybody help. Thanks, alk545 ## Well since you ordered from a pharmacy not regulated by the FDA, then there is no way of knowing for sure what you received, especially with no markings on the pills. However, Carisoprodol is the generic for Soma.

My pharmacy just began filling my soma RX with 446/Sun pharmaceuticals. They don't work like any other generic I've taken. I get shakey and nervous sometimes. They also don't help the muscles. I do not want to take any drug made out of the country. Has anyone else had this problem? ## I don't know where my pharmacy gets its meds, but I used generics for years with no problems. About 2 years ago, I began to have severe reactions to them, and have had to switch to the pricier real things. ## Sun 446 Soma works fine. Medicine made out of the Country is just as good as medicine made here. ## @Kel, My research leads me to believe that it's probably the inactive ingredients that are causing the problems when you switch from one manufacturer's tablet to another. The way...

are soma scripts no longer being filled at this store for long term costumers on same meds same md group for years in las vegas NV? WALMART PHARMACEYS ## I noticed something very interesting when I had my final soma & Xanax refill filled at my local pharmacy. The price was only 57 cents and 62 cents, usually about $2 with my good insurance and my pharmacy is loosing money on me. I was kindly asked not to return for this and possibly other medications. This happening at a time we hear all generic meds are going through the roof. One way for the pharmacy to stop filling questionable meds?

Muscle relaxer Cor 103 ## I have taken Soma/Carosoprodol 350 mg X 4 a day for 5 years. They do very little but relieve nureuthopy (spl). However, I recently got a prescription for Soma cor 103 and they messed me up. I am not taking them. All the other brands act the same, but this cor 103 acts more like a narcotic, and I do not take narcotics. ## Yes, COR 103 is Carisoprodol 350mgs, a generic for Soma. So not a narcotic at all. However, the reason it could be causing you to feel that way is the real nature of generic drugs and the laws that control the making of them. In truth, generic drugs are allowed to differ, in the ACTIVE ingredient, from their name brand counterparts by as much as PLUS or MINUS 20%. In addition, it DOES NOT necessarily have to be the same exact active ingredient ...

I have always taken soma 350, made by Watson and now they gave me they say is soma 350 but the number on it is CL_022, what is this pill ? ## Hello, Roxie! How are you? The manufacturer, Rising Pharmaceuticals, lists this tablet as containing 350mgs of Carisoprodol, so it is just a different generic for Soma. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Make some say Dan, D + letters are 2 first Watson second sun I believe... all I've aren't are nickel size white round quarter inch thick ## This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, and they list it as containing 750mgs of Methocarbamol, which is a generic for Robaxin, which is a different muscle relaxant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

can you take hydrocodone with robaxin? ## Soma and Robaxin are not the same thing. Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol, while Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol. Both are muscle relaxants, by they are different medications that are different in potency. The tablet you listed with the 4211 V marking contains 500mgs of Methocarbamol, which is a generic for Robaxin. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. As to taking them together, you can as long as your doctor approves, but both can increase sedation, so you may experience more dizziness and drowsiness than usual. it

I was switched to backlafen from soma's, what are the difference an what are the ingredients? ## They look just like a Soma. I wouldn't like them? Baclofen can also be used to treat hiccups.[3] ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? Baclofen is the active ingredient, so what you've received is a generic. It is also classified by the FDA as a muscle relaxant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. The scheduling of Soma was recently changed, since it is commonly abused, so many doctors no longer want to prescribe it and are swathing their patients to alternatives. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been changed out the same. They are higher on my co pay than somas. They do not work at all. My husbands doctor still wrights...

I know some somas do wanna figure out if this one dose. 350mg ## K.. I TAKE HYDROCODONE.... WAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEM HYDROW AND SOMAS ## I think some misunderstandings need to be cleared up in regards to this post. The medication just called Soma, or its generics Carisoprodol do not contain Codeine, or any other narcotic. Carisoprodol is the only active ingredient in them. Thus, though it is a muscle relaxant that can help with muscle spasms that cause pain, it will not help with other types of pain, such as nerve pain or surgical pain as a narcotic would. It is solely used for muscle pain and spasms. And the tablet originally asked about here, with the 2410 V marking contains only 350mgs of Carisoprodol, so it is a generic for Soma that contains no narcotics whatsoever. You can di...

Just received my refill of soma 350mg but they look different than the ones I am used to getting from the same pharmacy. No read out was put in the bag. The white round pill had a SG 109 on one side & blank on the other side. Anybody ever heard of these before? Because, since there was no print out of the new different medication I was a little worried, "what if the pharmacist made a little error in mine & somebody else's medications". Thanks for any feedback. ## Errors are made every day but these pills have been identified as Soma ## That is correct, they are manufactured by ScieGen Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 350mgs of Carisoprodol, which is a generic for Soma. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hea...
