Hello. I'm not sure if anybody will respond to this, but has anyone taking estratest experienced gallstones or gallbladder problems? I ask this because I have taken estratest for years and I was recently diagnosed with gallstones which happens to be a side effect with estratest. I was just tying to see if anyone else developed gallbladder problems after years taking estratest. I have confirmed that i have gallstones and have been advised by a friend to use StoneCLR. I have been finding little sites all over my body and face for almost 3 years thinking it was stress or poriasis but after getting unbearable night sweats and total loss of taste not to mention other stuff. Finally got a good gastro doc is doing lots of tests on me. No pain at all but these night sweats and total loss of taste and in bed practically 24/7 I finally got dressed to see him. Now I have sores little ones that come and go but one on the base of my scalp you can't see is scary. Any advice about soothing these or stopping the hair loss? He gave me penicillin which in 2 days made me feel a lot better but still have to find out what's causing the internal infection Thanks!

Omg it sounds exactly like my condition. Lethal night sweats and belly bloat not to mention scalp sores. Go to a good gastrointestinal guy. You may have gallstones or gallbladder problems. Believe me it's a gastro thing. I'm going for my endoscopy tomorrow. Don't let it get worse!!

Hi I have got gallstones and I have been given oramorph and co deine and paracetamol from the hospital I am on 5ml every 4 hours but still the pain is bad would I ne able to take it every 2 hours or 10ml every 4 hours ## Hello, Jacqui! How are you? You should not change your dosage, without your doctor's approval. Both the Oramorph and the Codeine are narcotics, so you may overdose if you do so, they also carry the risk of being habit forming. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Paracetamol is also dangerous, if you take too much each day, an overdose of it could result in fatal toxicity. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I have multiple gallstones and suffered from a gall bladder attack almost 3 years ago. I have been avoiding getting my gall bladder out. I have been taking Ursodiol for almost 3 years and have not had a gall bladder attack. I just had a scan done on my gall bladder and it is unchanged from 3 years ago and my Dr. reccommends taking it out. While the scan was being done on my gallbladder they also scanned my liver which showed fatty infiltration. My good cholestral was high, but my blood work was normal. My Dr. told me not to drink for 3 months and we will check the liver again. Since being told about pancreatitis and gallstones until I am cleared for surgery am living in constant pain. Can't have normal existence that once was. The meds are so unbelievably expensive so I'm trying to find a way to just be happy and pain free until I can be fixed. ## I have cirrhosis of the liver and also have hepatitis c. I was told from a friend that her son has a problem with gallstones and the outcome is he has constant diarrhea and his Dr said no need to do anything unless it becomes problematic. I'm 17 and the doctor told me I had gallstones, and so I've literally been eating foods with no fat, non greasy, and it caused my weight to deteriorate dramatically. I wasn't pleased at my weight at all. And so I did some research and found out about periactin bin on the pill for a month and the results are amazing!!! Have been hospitalizid 4 times in one year. The diagnosis is gallstones. Had my gallbladder removed years ago, drs say stones r formed by the byle in liver and carried to byle duct. The problem being my system keeps forming stones made from chloresherol. Now on chlor. Free low fat diet. My question is, im now on ursodiol for 2 months but lately getting very naus. Udiliv, is it prescribed for cirrhosis of liver or for a sluggish liver or for any other reason. That are the consumption uses. How about a person having Diatebetes-2, also? ## Udiliv contains the active ingredient Ursodiol, it is a bile acid and is mainly given to dissolve gallstones. As such, no it is really not going to help treat Diabetes, which is a blood sugar condition.
