I have tried taking Linzess as needed and everyday. My experience was more often used less lt will works. Taking a break from your Linzess just for one day can make it work better. But need to use fiber drink or stool softener in place of . Do not eat bananas or any food that will cause constipation. Drink 100% pure apple juice and orange juice high pulp and fresh oranges . Also eat activia yogurts with fiber one everyday will help . ## I would think that the fiber in fruit like bananas would promote regular bowel movements (as they have in my experience), but I know we are all different. Dried prunes or dates also reportedly aid in GI tract motility; and probiotics are another thing that may be worth implementing. I suppose there is no one right way to make things flow more easily, but...

I started taking a 10 day prescription for Nitrofurantoin at 6 months pregnant for a UTI almost 4 weeks ago. Eight or nine days into taking it, my heart rate went up to 173. For about 14 hours it fluctuated above 145. Three days after that went away, I got a pressure headache that felt like someone was squeezing my head and broke out in hives. A few days following that I ended up having severe joint and muscle pain, stiff ankles, my heels feel like they are on fire. And I CANNOT walk! The pain is excruciating. It hurts to sit, stand, and especially walk. The headache went away, the rapid pulse, and the rash is getting better, but the tremendous joint pain remains. It hurts so bad at times I just cry! I pray that the baby is ok. I usually use cranberry extract and natural cures, but this...

While they have all been proven effective, there is no way to say whether or not any given medication is going to be effective for any given person that tries it. I had high BP for several months and tried all combinations without success. I had a bad reaction to Beta Blockers and Calcium blockers. My BP became normal (120/80) just a few days after I started taking Losartan/HCTZ. It was magical for about a month but starting this Monday my BP jumped to 156/98; then for last two days in the morning 145/86 and in the evening 130/92. What could cause this sudden rise? What can I do to get back to 120/80? ## Your blood pressure will never reach 120/80 and stay there, it is always going to fluctuate depending on the time of day you are checking, when you've taken your medications, what you've eaten, activity levels and etc. Why are you checking it so frequently? I have Hyperparathyroid Disease and have suffered with severe constipation for several years, caused by high Calcium levels. I recently became severely impacted and had a procedure in my Dr's office that was excruciatingly painful to de-impact me. He put me on Lizness 145 mg and it has helped me to have regular, pain free bowel movements every day. I was so relieved! Can I stay on Lizness for a long period of time safely? I feel like it is a miracle drug for me. ## You can stay on it for as long as your doctor feels it is safe for you to do so. The FDA does warn that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, stomach cramping, flatulence, and diarrhea. I have taken 145 mg total of dextroamphetamine in the past two days. I have a four panel drug test coming up, and one of the drugs it tests for is methamphetamine. Will my test show up positive for methamphetamine, because dexedrine is an amphetamine? They specifically test for methamphetamine, not all amphetamines. If it will show up, how long should 145 mg be in my system (i'm 160 lbs with a fast metabolism)? What is the most effective way to flush my system?
