I found the way for you to make your own fermented wheat germ. I took it in the treatment of my own stage IV rectal cancer and I'm still alive 3 years later. They gave me 7% chance to live 6 to 18 months. Black currant is called "grosellas negras ó casis" in Spanish. They are posted on Google España. The way to ferment "germen de trigo", brotes de trigo, is to mix it with bakers yeast, the same one that is used to make bread, for 18-24 hours. It seems that to make Avemar (fermented wheat germ) all you need to do is get wheat germ and mix it with water and brewers yeast for 18 hours at 86 degrees Fahrenheit. You can then use it and even make bread with it and eat some each day. Fortunately I don't need it but reading all the people who do it would be a whole lot cheaper than paying $200 for pills and not knowing if it will work. ## OK JOE, can u give me the exact percentage of each ingredient (wheat germ, water, and brewers yeast). Sounds interesting, I would like to give it a try. ## Figuring out the exact percentages of each ingredient would likely be a long shot, namely because the makers of Avemar have not even listed it for their own product. I read in a medical newsletter that fermented wheat germ sold under the name of Avemar , also avaialble from amazon, is able to reduce all types of tumors, at least in the laboratory as described in 34 different publications of which I read the summaries. I read one publication in detail. Does anyone have any experience with the fermented wheat germ, or know of anyone who has taken it? According to a number of related threads on here, that particular company is thought to be a scam and in my own honest opinion upon investigation of those claims, should be avoided. However, there are plenty other retailers/distributors of "Avemar" and "fermented wheat germ extract", that you can find by simply searching for those keywords online. I know someone with stage 4 breast cancer. It has spread to her liver, she has a tumor on her breast bone, etc. How has H-86 worked against this aggressive stage of cancer? ## Hi Michelle, From what I understand, there are no real reports of H-86 being a legitimate cancer drug. There are less than a handful of vague articles that briefly state it's use for such treatments. One other user on here found information claiming it to be a type of fermented wheat germ; however I personally have yet to come across any specific details linking them to one another. However further investigation suggests that H-86 is actually another name for "fermented wheat germ extract" (available under brand names such as Avemar).
