I got my prescription for 2mgs xanax bars filled and they are like a lighter yellowish browinsh kinda color and I've never seen one like this. I took half at first and felt nothing 30 mins later and then took the other half which equals a full bar (2mg). i felt nothing at all, completely sober.. i can usually take half a bar (1mg) and feel good.. if i take a full bar (2mg) i usually forget everything the next day. were they fake since i felt nothing? i looked it up and it looks the way it should and taste like normal xanax. ## I was on xanax for many years. I have a yellow pill that is rectangular with R039 on it and has 3 score marks. I don't have a huge tolerance for Xanax but I took 5, yes FIVE, bars and felt absolutely nothing. Got my prescription filled with some dark yellow bars, almost orange with darker orange spots, had r039. Broke like chalk.. had the bitter flavor but instead of being fast-acting it took an hour and a half to kick in and was the strongest I had ever had. A lot of people on the web are giving alot of different answers and to clear things up they are not fake. They taste real, look a little odd, and the print they used isn't spot on.. but they work great for my anxiety and they are strong I could promise you that. If you did mean "R 3 0 9", then unfortunately it would most likely be a counterfeit pill... and I don't think it'd be worth the risk of taking. From what I've been researching online, the real yellow xanax bars are marked with R|0|3|9 . For verification, you can also look up the pill's National Drug Code of 00228-2039. If so, there shouldn't be any issues unless the pharmacy made a mistake or changed the manufacturer without informing you. The color of a medication doesn't usually have anything to do with its formulation since different manufacturers design their pills differently. Is everything else normal other than the color? ( ie: shape, size, imprint etc..) If you ordered the Xanax online, then there is definitely a possibility of the pills being "fake" or unsafe. The yellow bars that have R039 are generics the way you can tell if any generic Xanax are real is by the number and when you put it in your mouth you get a bad taste right away if you don't taste nothing then they are fake or cut down with something and for the white ones as well they have to have a G 3722 and the actual Xanax will have Xanax on it with a 2 on the back but to test every Xanax you put them in your mouth and get a bad taste right away and won't dissolve that fast ## Thanks for the heads up ace! I have recently refilled my prescription and it with Bright Yellow Xanax Bars with the imprint of R039 on them BUT they just don't seem right! I have never seen a xanax 2mg bar that was as bright yellow as these and they don't taste right either! Xanax has a very distinctive taste to them no matter what brand they might be or wether they are generic or not!
