Enlarged Spleen

I am 38,weight 80KGS,height 5'6".suffering from enlarged and fatty liver with slightly enlarged spleen. Medicines given: URSOCOL 300, FESTAL-N,PEPTICA AND LIV-52 DS I USED TO DRINK 2 PEGS WHISKEY EVERYDAY WITH SODA FOR LAST ONE YEAR.NOW HAVE STOPPED. ALTHOUGH FACE TROUBLES LIKE TREMENDOUS GAS PAIN AND VOMIT. PLS GUIDE ACCORDINGLY.

So I was recently given harvoni the hepatitis c drug, but I also have cirrhosis of the liver, polyps on my gull bladder, & an enlarged spleen, & I was released from doctors care in fear of dea trouble, & pardon me but the stupid doctor thinks that harvoni is the ultimate cure. Well i'm sorry & any real doctor would know & understand that just will hopefully kill hepatitis, but I live in day 2 day pain since the doctor took away my methadone. Now I just want 2 be comfortable & now i'm back in the bed just like b4 I got the meds. I have 2 children. I can no longer lead a normal life, because i'm always in the bed. I have NAFLD and have been told I need a liver transplant but the infliximab I am using at the moment isn't working and I am in constant pain in my shoulders, hands, knees and feet as well as pain in my ribs due to my liver and enlarged spleen. Have been told I can use this but am a bit sceptical about this after reading forums and would appreciate any feedback. ## I didn't see any warnings about it causing problems with liver disease, or being contraindicated, but it is always best to seek the opinion of another doctor, if you aren't sure. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, muscle aches, cough, and weight loss. Is this the only medication you will be taking?

im 25 weeks pregant and i have been taking this medicine for my whole pregancy i have recently found out that my daughter has a lot of problems. which include transposition of the great arteries, holes in her left and right aorta's, an enlarged brain, and her spleen never formed. i have no health problems on my side of the family and my boyfriend doesn't either except for a hole he had an his heart wen he was young. i heard that the nitrofurantoin mono mac 100mg caps can cause women to have miscariages and some have complations could it be because of this medicine? and it says to not take in the third trimester but my doctor i was seeing was to keep taking it my whole way through i dnt know what i should do, should i keep taking it or should i stop. i feel like my baby would be ...

You could experience a reduction in those symptoms within the first week or it might take some time. ## Hi Mark, Judging from the wording of your post, I couldn't exactly interpret whether you were replying to someone in particular or just stating some facts you found on the internet about "myelofibrosis fever (MF)"? In either case, what I can agree with is that the prognosis of MF is in fact different for every patient. One important thing to be aware of if you have Myelofibrosis, is that even if you don't experience any symptoms, a doctor could still find "signs" of it during a physical examination (i.e. an enlarged spleen or pale mucous membranes). i have new pesription and my dr. wants me to try opana 10mg. is this drug stonger and how much stonger than my last drug oxycodone 30mg.. ## The Oxymorphone in Opana is stronger than Oxycodone, but you aren't on an equivalent dose, it would take 15mgs of it to equal each 30mg dose of the Oxycodone.
