In my opinion, the best thing to do would be to use natural alternatives instead of this drug (depending on what your wife is taking it for). I am 74 yrs. I had heart bypass in Dec 2013. As per advice I am taking Ecosprin AV 150 & Amlopin 2.5 mg one tablet a day.I get a little congestion in throat & also have cough in the sputem. Can it be the side effect of the above medicines ? ## Those aren't usual side effects, according to the NIH, they typically include nausea, dizziness, headache, joint/muscle aches, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. I have been consuming ECOSPRIN AV 75/20 about last three months against prescription. For last few days, while siting on chair for an hour or two I feel that both of my feet bottom are having slight swelling. I want to know is it because of this tablet. My age is 66 and 85 kg wt.

I am 58 years old, As a precaution and prescibed by a Medical Doctor (usually used for its blood thinning) for the last two and half years I have been taking Ecosprin 75 mg at bed time, I am fine carrying good helath, very active too. Now I have stopped to use this medicine ( sine Dec-13) because I have noticed the following. 1. Knee pains for the last 8 months. 2. I am taking Ecosprin av 75 since 1yr.prior to that was taking ecosprin75 after repair of mitral valve in 2008.Diffusion of body hair started since 2yrs nd continuing.Dermatologists could not diagnosed the reason. Since, two years I have been taking these two medicines regularly. Now, I hope there are side effects. The problem is my hands & legs gets numb when I sit or lay atleast for 10/20 minutes in the same position.
