Does anyone use a tens unit and bisoplol together ## In theory, since a TENS unit doesn't use any drugs, it shouldn't react with any medications, however, it would be best to check with your doctor to be certain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Unituxin Dinutuximab

Dinutuximab (Ch14.18, tradename Unituxin) and dinutuximab beta (tradename Qarziba) are monoclonal antibodies used as a second-line treatment for children with high-risk neuroblastoma. My Doctor prescribed 50k units of vitamin D as he said my count was extreemely low last year and I took them with no problems. On my recent physical its still low so he gave me another prescription. I am unemployed with no insurance and cannot afford them. So I took the old container which had three left which expired 5/30/2011. I felt like all my bones were sore, I was dizzy and I had two days of sleeping all the time. I was eating healthy, skim milk, organic soy milk, eating yogurt for breakfast and taking tums when I have issues with stomach due to eating spicy foods. I was taking calcium pills and taking my blood pressure and everything seemed ok. Should I take Calcium when taking this high dosage. I cannot call doctor as its too expensive to see him. Please let me know if I would b...

Please: I'm currently on my 4th Asthmanefrin unit, the local stores have exchanged it so far. Now I can't breathe and the unit won't work. I have the racepinephrine liquid refills but no way to get it into my system. Any suggestions for middle-of-the-night/emergency delivery methods?? It doesn't matter how you clean it; this is a flawed product that only works for 1-4 months. ## Hello, Destined! How are you doing? If you're breathing gets so bad that you are in emergency status, you should call 911 for assistance. As to the Asthmanefrin, since this is an over the counter product, you will likely have better luck if you contact the manufacturer about the issues. They list a contact number as 855-999-3926. Do you have any prescription products you use for your asthma? ...

Help me find a doctor in East TN or surrounding areas that accepts United HealthCare Dual Complete. Thank you sooooo much!!!! ## Hello, Hol! How are you? The easiest way to do that would be to call them and ask them for a local listing of which doctor's accept their coverage. They usually have this information available for new customers. Is there anything else I can help with?

The prescription packaging on my 50,000 units per pill of Vita D, says not to crush or chew before swallowing. "Swallow whole". Why can't these by chewed? My pharmacist didn't know why. Can't swallow pills. ## Does it happen to have anything else on the label, such as ER, XR, SR or anything like that? Some of these are controlled release, so it isn't all released into your body at once and crushing them defeats that and could result in you getting too much of it, at once. Some prescription Potassium tablets come the same way and cannot be crushed, cut or chewed. Other times it is done to prevent the irritation that can occur to the esophagus or stomach from certain medications and supplement. They are specially coated to help prevent this from happening and by cr...

Although the swelling has reduce a lot yet it pains when i touch Or move my right leg. Feels like tightness just below the kneecap. ## You might have sprained the knee, but over extending the tendons, ligaments, or both. The NIH warns that this can be a very painful condition and may take 3+ months to heal. My husband ...

MY RX was converted from 50000 units of vitamin d to 1.25mg. Is this the correct equivalent? ## Yes, that is the correct equivelent, but unfortunately this is for PRESCRIPTION vitamin d. Over the counter vitamin d is the recommended form of vitamin d by researchers- you can use the same dosage. Please read my page on prescription vitamin d to see why researchers say that it should not be used for supplementation: blog.easy-immune-health.com/nutrients/vitamin-d/prescription-vitamin-d-not-suitable-for-supplementation Prescription Vitamin d has a higher chance of toxicity, shroter half life and it is less potent than over the counter vitamin d3.

I have central AC in my small home so at night I turn the central off and only use my window AC unit to save on electricity and it doesn't make sense to me to cool my home while I'm in my bedroom about 12 hours at night. I work nights and have a dog. Any chance that a little leak which I think I hear could cause me or my dog any harm? Thanks!

what is the side affects of this drug vit d2 ? ## once a week for 9 wks. what if any side affects? ## Hello, Badeye! How are you? This is classified by the FDA as a nutritional supplement. In this high of a dose, it may cause some nausea, diarrhea and drowsiness. Since this is very potent, please be careful not to exceed your doctor's dosing instructions. Is there anything else I can help with?

a round white with COL on one side an UNITED on the other side ## I'm sorry, I've tried several different database searches and I can't find anything that matches this among the listed prescription medications. That makes me suspect that it's most likely an over the counter item. Learn more OTC drug details here. Where was it found?

Is it safe for me to take daily , my doctor wants me to take it for 4 months ## In my opinion 50,000 a day (from dietary supplements) is way too much. My girlfriend was diagnosed with Vitamin D deficiency also as she lives in rainy Portland, Oregon. Her doctor suggested 50,000 IU per "week" for a certain number of weeks in order to reverse her deficiency. I know everyone is different, but 50,000 a day seems like a long shot from supplements alone and should probably be tapered down to a normal dose range after the 4 month period is up so it doesn't become toxic in your system (as Vitamin D2 is synthetic). I personally take 5,000 IU of Vitamin D3 per 'day' as that is what I've read in many health magazines to be a healthy dose. If you are able to, I would strongly...

Flat round white pill. Vitamin D3 1000 Unit. Pls describe what this will do and is the dose too much? ## Vitamin D supplementing can be essential for those who don't get enough sunlight. Vitamin D2 is a synthetic version of D3, so it is great that you have D3 instead of D2! Vitamin D insufficiency can result in thin, brittle, or misshapen bones, while sufficiency prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults, and, together with calcium, helps to protect older adults from osteoporosis. Personally I supplement with Vitamin D3 2000 Unit. I have read that as much as 5000 Unit isn't overdosing, especially if you aren't in the sunlight very often. Hope this information helps! Please post back if you have any other questions or comments. ## During Crohn's illness or e...

can i use this ointment for fongus on my hand ## This ointment is usually used to debride chronic skin ulcers and severe burns. That said, it is probably not the best choice to treat a fungal infection, as it is not an antifungal agent and it could make your skin very sensitive, so the fungus could spread and get worse. Have you consulted your doctor?

i took this vit d2 1.25 for 30 days now pharmacy say i did not suppose to take that med that doctor gave me the prescription ## I find it rather odd that the pharmacy is telling you not to take what the doctor prescribed you. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the pharmacy does not know your medical history or any of your personal reasons for having to supplement Vitamin D. I would however argue that Vitamin D2 is synthetic and therefore may not be as effective as it's more natural counterpart (Vitamin D3). From this point of view, I can understand why the pharmacy may recommend that you take D3 instead of D2. Were you able to get your prescription filled?

Do you take this supplement at night or with meals? When are you supposed to take it? ## You should take vitamin d with some sort of fat- any meal is fine. But you should be aware that taking D2 is NOT the recommended form of Vitamin D. Please take a look at the page on Vitamin D3 to see why that is preferred. You may also be interested in taking a look at this page on Magnesium and Vitamin D to see why it's not the best idea to 'just' take large doses of Vitamin D without taking magnesium to prevent some of the adverse effects that can occur with large doses of Vitamin D. ## suspect Vit D2 overdose with 50,000 units prescribed ## I was very tired so my dr. took blood work and found out I was low on Vitamin D. He put me on 51,000 units and after a few weeks, a person who nev...

I'm looking for liquid gel Ibuprofen 200 mg which is actually made in the USA, not not made outside the country for patients in the USA. ## Most medications are manufactured in foreign countries, now. However, there is nothing to worry about, because it has to meet the same standards as any other medication available for sale in the U.S. Ibuprofen is a NSAID that is most commonly used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Its typical side effects may include nausea, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. At this time, it is not advisable to take it for coronavirus symptoms, as they are unsure if warnings about it possibly worsening symptoms are accurate, or not. Is there anything else I can help with?
