The company Aurobindo hydrocodone/apap 10-325 has U03 on it does not work its as though the meds are fake. don't know for sure but I have never had problems with my meds working until my pharmacy changed to this companyAurobindo ## Hello, Linda! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you consulted your doctor? They may need to prescribe an alternative medication, in the meantime. ## Same here! Just got these same bunk meds myself, a couple weeks ago, worthless! Never had trouble with my previous norco, but the ones by aurobindo are terrible, do nothing ...

I've been taking 10/325 hydrocodones × 5 per day for a couple of years for pain then the laws changed and, my Dr. prescribed me 1, 30 mg. Kadian cr per day for pain, the hydrocodone kinda helped for pain but i never was fully pain free. Just wanted ask how the new prescription would be better or should I ask for something else. I suffer from osteoarthritis, degenerate bone disease in just about all my joints. Any help with questions would be appreciated greatly. ## Hello, Wohali! How are you? To be equivalent to the amount of Hydrocodone that you were taking, you'd need 50mgs of Morphine. These opiates convert on a 1 to 1 ratio. Thus, the 30mg dosage may not be enough to get your pain under control, but the only way to find out is by trying it. The FDA classifies this medic...

I've taken Hydrocodone 10/325 for years for chronic back pain. With it being moved to a class 2 from class 3 I cannot get my med. Filled. I ask my doctor to change/rewrite script For 7.5 hydrocodone, why does the 7.5 script seem stronger than the 10/325. Has the formulas changed. It's crazy what's happening to Chronic pain suffers all over the nation! Any advice is helpful. Why is one melagram of the same medication plentiful and others of the same medication not. I should not have had to lower my dosage strength in order to have any quality of life. Thx ## The forumla hasn't changed. It may be that the manufacturer is uisng more of the active ingredient in the 7.5 than the 10. Generics can have a varing degree of active ingredients. For example, if the rx is suppose to h...

The one with the Watson 853 on it contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Are Watson 503 still available at Pharmacies in the US? ## No, they are no longer available here. All combination prescription products have been changed to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose and this one contained 650mgs with the 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was taking lortab 10/500 blue with Watson 540 stamped on the pill, taking four a day. My pain has worsened. Dr changed my meds to Oxycodone 10mg it's very small (pink with k56 on the pill). What's the difference? Got me taking 1 every 4 to 6 hours and 180 a month. Is that ok? Or should I be worried? ## Hi Todd, Both of these medications are narcotics that are classified as controlled substances. Although they have similar side effects and drug interactions, they are different drugs. Oxycodone is generally considered to be more potent than Hydrocodone (although some people may find Hydrocodone to work better, due to individual differences in how people react to medications). It is also available as a single-ingredient medication or in combination with other active ingredients, ...

White oblong tablet with 2 horseshoes & scoring on 1 side & 201 on the other side ## A white oblong tablet with the marking UU separated by a score on side and the numbers 201 on the other side is manufactured by Forest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0785-1122). This dosage is no longer available, because the FDA changed the regulations and now require all combination medications to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, to reduce the risk of Acetaminophen toxicity. Is lortab 10 / 325 weaker than lortab 10 / 500 ## Hello, Jim! How are you? Yes and no, the amount of Acetaminophen in it is lower and the ones with the higher doses are no longer available. This medication was changed and all formulations that are now available can only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose. However, the Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic for some people, so the one with the higher amount of it may work better for them, but it doesn't work that way for everyone, so for some people these might basically be equivalent, since they both contain 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, d...
