green capsule ## I have to admit that since this is a foreign drug, I am not certain what it is, foreign meds are just not regulated like US prescription drugs are, so they can be hard to find information on. Can you give me a general idea of what it is used for, or any other information you have on it? ## Taken twice a day after breakfast and dinner. 100 mg cap. No after affects. Can I take Doxycycline 100 mg tablets if I have a sulfa allergy? ## Hi Carol, according to an article I read from the Mayo Clinic, Doxycycline is not listed as a sulfa drug, so you should be okay to take it as prescribed. I also cross referenced the Wikipedia page on Sulfonamides, and it too did not list Doxycycline. If you have other allergies or sensitivities, I'd just double check the inactive ingredients as well to ensure that there is nothing else in there that could disagree with you. If you can refer to the National Drug Code (NDC) printed on your prescription label it should be pretty easy to find the list of inactive ingredients. I hope this helps and feel free to write back!

need to know if Doxy 1 L Dr Forte is a tablet or a capsule? ## From what I am finding, it is listed as being a capsule, which makes sense, because most Doxycycline usually is in capsule form. 100 mg ## What are side effects. My Mom has chronic bladder infection. Dr prescribed Doxycycl. She has taken about everything & nothing will get rid of it. It keeps coming back. Any suggestions? ## Side effects include diarrhea,stomach upset and sun sensitivity. If nothing she can take at home is getting rid of it, she may have to check into the hospital for a few days for some IV antibiotics. ## I'm taking doxycycl hyc 100mg capm mutul. Thus, if you really want to enjoy the sunshine, it would be best to be very careful and use a heavier sunscreen than you normally would.
