I am 60 years old. I was diagnosed with "GERD" 3 years ago for which I was prescribed rabeprazole sodium and domperidone formulation - 1 capsule daily. I have been using the medicine since then without any side effects. Short time discontinuance, 3-4 days, has no adverse effect. However, discontinuance beyond that the diagnosed problems resurface all over again. Is it OK to continue taking this medicine kind of lifelong? My last medical exam about 6 months has been normal. Is Rabonik Plus useful in treating chronic constipation? ## Rabonik DSR contains Rabeprazole and Domperidone, while the Rabonik Plus still contains the Rabeprazole, though I haven't been able to find anything listing what else it contains. My endoscopy revealed that I have ulcer.Uvulva:Bifid Uvulva, Stomoch:Antral Gastritis, Dudenum:Grade I Dudnenitis. However, you really do need to consult your doctor, because it is going to depend on what's causing the diarrhea.
