I've had severe chronic pain for years. Pain dr. Gave me 7.5/325 hydrocodone. I have hep c and chronic anemia. I don't want either tylenol or Ib.. what can I ask for that has none of those and is stronger? Would a fentanyl patch work? ## Hello, Andrea! How are you feeling? Fentanyl is the strongest narcotic available, so it may not be wise to jump straight to it, because that's not going to leave you anywhere to go in the future, once you build up a tolerance. Learn more Fentanyl details here. There are several others that are stronger and don't contain NSAIDs. One would be Oxycodone, which is available in instant release, regular release and time released formulations. Learn more Oxycodone details here. There's also Morphine, Dilaudid and Opana. My Dr switched me from Norco 10/325 to 1/2 15 mg ir Morphine Sulfate... So basically 7.5. Am I going to go thru Norco withdrawal? Is 7.5 higher than Norco 10? I so do not want to be in more pain. She started me at 7.5 to see how I tolerate it. Thanks. ## Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, Morphine and Hydrocodone generally convert on a 1 to 1 basis, so 10mgs of one equals 10mgs of another. She has started you lower to see how you do on the Morphine, and you may find that it works better for you than the Norco. Hello..I have Crps type 2 and take Norco 10/325....Is there any other pain med that DOES NOT CONTAIN TYLENOL that would work for me,, esp since I like my Liver and want to keep it as long as possible without killing it from Tylenol....Thank You ## Hello, Stevarino! How are you? Yes, there are quite a few other options that don't contain Acetaminophen/Tylenol that you can ask your doctor about, including Oxycodone, Morphine, Dilaudid and a new version of time released Hydrocodone without the Acetaminophen called Zohydro. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I also suffer from CRPS both knees. Wanted to let you k...

I have Norco M 367 and I'd like to know if they have side effects? ## Yes, it does have side effects! The same as any other narcotic! This is manufactured by mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals and have 325mgs of Acetaminophen in it, as well as 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it can cause drowsiness, a high feeling, euphoria, nausea, vomiting, constipation and addiction! ## Hi....after taking narcs for years, I'd recommend getting on one that is not married with Tylenol. Because of tolerance, which is inevitable, meds such as morphine, dilaudid, roxicodone, etc., do not contain Tylenol at all. Meds such as Norco and Percocet have to be limited in dosage because of Tylenol content. It will wreak havoc on the liver, esp. If combined with alcohol. I've been on Roxicodone for quite a few years a...

I have been taking 325 mg of hydrocodone, only "as needed". A recent trip to hospital & Dr. there gave me a prescription for 15mg morphine. Which one is stronger? Don't think the morphine helps with my pain as much, but it doesn't leave me with a drug "hangover". So, I am assuming hydrocodone is stronger? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? They are actually equivalent, according to NIH reports, on a 1 to 1 ratio. Thus, since the highest dose available of Hydrocodone contains 10mgs of it accompanied with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the new dose of Morphine is actually stronger. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you getting pain re...

yellow oval pill v/36 01 ## This contains Acetaminophen 325mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs, it is a generic for Norco. This is a narcotic pain reliever, very strong and addictive. ## I wouldn't say they are "very strong", they are strong if you're not used to narcotic pain relievers, much stronger than a darvocet, tylenol 3, or even a plain vicodin 5/500, but weak compared to pain relievers such as percocet, roxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, demerol, oxycontin, fentanyl, and the many other stronger painkillers on the market. I HIGHLY agree that they're very addictive though. I struggled with addiction to vicodin and norco, so I know how addictive they are. ## in trouble need 5 10mg vicodin to feel ok a day
