Need a doctor who prescribes suboxone in Indiana - i am on medicaid. ## While I'm not aware of which doctors accept medicaid, I can provide you with links to help you locate specific pain management doctors within your local area. You'd inevitably have to ask the receptionist though if the doctor accepts medicaid or any other type of insurance that you might have. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I hope this helps! ## I'm 26 and dying from my drug dependence. i am looking for a doctor in Long Island that is covered dy Medicaid ## Forgettabout' it! I'll do you a favor and save you at least 1&1/2 days which ='s wasting 36 hours calling dozens of doctors trying and hoping to find just even a single one who will accept even any kind of insurance (let alone yours). Not even any or even a one doctor will accept any medical insurance for suboxone treatment/ prescription and if you do find that one doctor in the NY tri-state area, please let me know. Legally/according to law, they away required and have to accept your insurance as payment, if they participate/accept your health insurance plan. I had been on Suboxone for almost 8 years. In my opinion it is a wonder drug compared to all the opiates that the pain clinics are all too willing to prescribe .I have been out of my Suboxone for a week & a half. I feel like I am dying. I can not sleep. I have a 5 month old new baby boy. I can hardly pick him up due to the pain that I am in. I hurt all over. i have been so nauseated. My doctor who 's visits were cash bases only, however medicaid would take care of the actual prescription of 60, 8 mg. At one time I WAS PRESCRIBED 4, 8 MG SUBS A DAY. i WOULD KILL JUST TO HAVE A QUARTER RIGHT NOW TO FEEL LIKE NORMAL AGAIN. My doctor decided that he no longer wants to deal with any one with medicaid due to the fact that his office does not "LIKE TO HANDLE PRIOR AUTHORIZATIONS ...

My daughter has been on suboxone for 4 years her Dr got arrested need her to find a dr ## Have her sign up at NAABT.ORG, it's a dr match site for this. Yeah, Dr Ley and DORN associates were good, but the DEA shouldn't have dismantled their operation w/o providing a list of doctors. Now the DEA has our records, so many can't find anyone to even take them. He and the DEA are to blame for this. Not us, who go to counseling, take our drug panels, work, doing everything right and then BAM! Nothing for us. ## yep, same here! I'm not sure how many are aware of all the new changes Medicaid has and continues to change against suboxone, not good! At one time medicaid paid for suboxone with PA without all the restrictions. After adding many restrictions causing many doctors to stop doing PA meaning you paid our of pocket for your meds even though you have 100% medicaid. Then as of April 1st 2017 the ARTS Program started that claimed anyone who had medicaid shouldn't be paying out of pocket for their meds. Also they claimed there would be many doctors taking medicaid for the office visit, well that was a lie and the few who do really put you through the ringer. I was told I would receive reimbursement from my insurance for the off call and meds by filing a appeal under the ARTS program and send all receipt...
