need to find a doctor that treats pain uGK ## Hello, In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I posted below a couple webpages specific to locating pain management doctors and specialists in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients. You may even want to follow up in person to get a real vibe for the doctor. From what others have stated, most doctors are pretty lenient when it comes to prescribing Vicodin as opposed to some of the other stronger narcotics; so I...

I have a herniated disc in my back along with severe carpal tunnel in both hands. I just moved here from san Diego and need to find a Dr that will prescribe me something. I'm not looking for anything crazy just something like vicodin that will take the edge off when it gets severe. The only insurance I have right now is medi-cal so preferably a Dr that accepts that or isn't too expensive out if pocket. ## Since you're no longer a resident of Calif you won't be able to use Medical. You need to check the eligibility requirements for Ohio Medicaid and if you met them apply for Medicaid in Ohio. ## All doctors can..but I doubt you have a reason other than getting high. Otherwise you would have a Doctor and be under his care...quit trying to source out drugs on forums ## Plea...

I was using one of the online face2face consults services but they can't find any more doctors for me to see, even out of state. I went to RI and NY but they aren't around anymore. I've had chronic knee pain after multiple surgeries, can't take NSAIDS, and injections last a week, if they can even get the needle into all the scar tissue. Looking for an understanding doc in MA or RI who will prescribe and not accuse me of being an addict ## Try Dr Jay Portnow in Brockton. He only works 3 days per week. Also heard that either the ER or a pain clinic at a hospital in New Bedford might.

Have chronic degenerative disc disease; buprenorphine makes bile rise. Vicodin (Narco) works now since I took it over 12 yrs ago. I recently left my CP doc because he refused to prescribe adequate pain meds. Am looking authentic pain med doc/clinic in Boulder CO who will believe how much pain I'm in without my having to cry. ## A new dr will want to get a copy of your medical records from your previous dr. You crying won't convince a dr you're in pain.

I have been suffering from a failed patella replacement for 12 years. Tramadol sometimes helps, but the risks for stroke are too high. I was being treated by a doctor in RI but he lost his license. Is there anyone in Boston area who can prescribe vicodin 10/325 legally? ## Well, any doctor can prescribe it legally. The main issues are just why its being prescribed, how much, for how long and etc. Learn more Vicodin details here. With the new regulations and issues on the east coast regarding doctors prescribing improperly and over prescribing, your best bet is going to be with a pain management specialist. I have been using vicodin for 2 years prescribed by the same Doctor. It is the only thing that keeps me mobile and active with a better quality of life. Everyone in my family and everyone who I work with know I've been using this and comment on how much better I'm walking (I have a bad limp in my right leg). I have not abused the prescription, I signed a Pain Management Contract, get it from only one pharmacy and have followed all of the rules. I have never gone over the allowed dose of 1 to 2 tabs a day as needed - 7.5-300. In April a UA was done and it came back negative which is absolutely impossible but because of this I have been dismissed from the pain management contract I've tried reaching out to a few pain management doctors to no avail.
