I’m in Lake Charles and my Doctor stopped my Percocet 10/325 mainly because I was complaining about it no longer working. Different manufacturers & fillers I believe. Anyway I’m currently on SSI Disability for my chronic pain and since stopping the Oxycodone last August I’ve had no quality of life. I can’t sleep well because of pain and can’t wait even do Daily living activities. New Doctor just kept pushing Gabapentin and different antidepressants, plus I’ve tried Lyrica & Cymbalta with horrible side effects from all. They’re trying to make me crazy. I don't even care if it’s Oxycodone. I’d rather have something that’s extended release. I’m in Lake Charles if anyone knows who may help me close by and not judg...

How can I find a VA doctor to prescribe oxycontin? I have chronic pain. This drug helps to relieve it, and it doesn't make me loopy. However, because there are those who abuse it, I have not been able to find a VA doctor who will prescribe it. ## I know a few veterans that go to the VA for all there primary care doctors but go to a pain management clinic because the VA is very strict on giving narcotics. They do have a pain management program at the VA but they will start you drugs like tramdol, baclofen and gabapentin and I doubt you will ever get oxycontin. You are probably better off finding a pm doc who is not affiliated with the VA. Good luck ## Have a legit pain issue and you wont have a problem. I get morphine and oxys from the va. ## @Rod Keen, Unfortunately, no one can real...

Is there anyone who can recommend a doctor who would treat me? I'm willing to travel and I don't care if they take my insurance. I just want to get treatment. Please help. ## I have a name of a wonderful doctor in Fredericksburg. It is called Comfort and Wellness... Dr. Garland Green... He is wonderful. I went there and the guy that sees us before the Dr. told me when you come back just bring in 11 or your percocet which is what I did. HE W...

My dr now has to drug test me before every visit or says he can't prescribe my Oxycodone 30mg four times daily. Last month he said I failed the test for the Oxy but came up positive for Hydrocodone. There's positively no way this could have happened. Can a test they use in the office with urine be so specific??? ## Yes they test for each one.mine does at least . ## yes they are that specific. the most common in house drug test used in doctors offices is the 10 panel expanded ua. these can be beaten by folks who know what they're doing. a blood test also is a 10 panel expanded plus blue. there is no way to "study" for a blood test lol. this is what led to me detoxing from 120 mgs of oxy per day. the hospital I detoxed in gave me a stable 120 mg administered over a wee...
