Morphine intravenously did nothing. No pain relief, no rush, no nothing. Highest permissible dose for my weight. Nothing. Dilaudid took 7 seconds to get from my forearm to my brain. Hi. I have been taking Dilaudid ER pills for several years now. I do not abuse them and take around 4 of the 8mg pills a day. I cannot find any information online regarding the sexual side effects that Dilaudid may have for females. It seems to be that reaching an orgasm is near impossible now... I am also on Opana so I am trying to figure out which is the culprit. Maybe they both are contributing factors but maybe there is information out there in the community that can help me. My brother has Stage IV lung/bone cancer and the new pain cocktail is 8 mg. dilaudid and 150 fetanyl patch plus IV dilaudid every 2 hours. He will probably be released from the hospital today or tomorrow so they have been easing off the injectable dosage and administering it oralls. The increased dosage of the oral dilaudid is causing him to vomit, which will lead to dehydration etc. What is the next best solution to solving this insidious problem of keeping his pain under control without these side effects? My Son was given Deloden when he was in hospital for gallbladder. He became belligerent, had hallcinattions and was hard to deal with. Delotta side effects: had a test last month with the camera up your butt. Have not been able to go the the bathroom. Went to the hospital very very blotted, they gave me another Delotta, after the test my bowles cut loose. Thought every thing would be better. Husband had emergency shot of Dilaudid for pain in side and back. It took away pains. Its been 4 days and he has a rash on legs, upper and lower. what is the long term effect on your liver and other organs? I have had C-3 C-4 fusion 1986. L-4 L-5 fusion 2011. I have had shoulder surgery in 05.I'am taken oxycodone 7.5/500mg 3xa day and dilaudid 4mg 4 x a day and gabapentin 600mg 4x a day. He tells me that on a long term that oxycodon with out the tylenol in it will effect my liver. so why did he give me something with 500mg of Tylenol in it? just don't under stand. LOST ## I am not sure I understand why he would do that, either. The Acetaminophen is far more dangerous to your liver than the Oxycodone by itself. Learn more Percocet details here.
