Dicorate Er 500-one tablet was given by the Neuurologist to my son aged 12 years, after dinner. He has been very agressive and his EEG report says that "Interictal State of seizure disorder". MRI brain report is "The non-contrast MRI findings of brain are within normal limits". By taking one tablet he has been feeling sleepy, but the neurologist has now suggested to take two tablets in a day to get good result. Is it wise to give two tablets in a day to my son. Our known 15years child taken Dicorate er 500 more than 2 years. And then last week admit because of Low plate cells in blood and causing Dengu fever. After a day doctors informed his Liver completely damaged. and then Kidny also become failure so no more else. 4days before we buried him to move to god. My sincere question, is Dicorate er 500 cause this death?

My son aged 19 years was diagnosed with mild epilepsy because he got occasional fits. He first had it 2 years back, and has, in 2 years got fits about 8-10 times, of short duration around 3-5 minute or so. He studies engg. in first year. The neuro we first met, advised Livera twice daily but we were worried about the side effects and never started this medication. Our family doc advised anti depressant to improve his mood and positivity, but the fits are coming, though occassionally, every 2 months or so. Before he gets the fit, 2-3 days in advance, he gets tremors and jerks for short duration. Then one day fit would follow. Then for 2 months or so, everything normal and it cycles again. I am using DICORATE ER 500 daily 1 tablet. Now I am planning to go to QATAR from India. Is this same brand available in QATAR or should I take it from India. Is this medicine allowed on flight?? My son aged 26 years is a Cerebral palsy(Mild), Autistic, and other Multiple Disabilities DICORATE 500ER 1.0.0 plus Sizodon Forte 1.0.1 and Chlorpromazine 50 mg 0.0.1 is his daily dose. He frequently falls and injures his knees. He cannot walk erect. His legs are are always bent a little near the knees, perhaps due to overweight.
