How does T-3 30mg codeine relate mg to mg to hydrocodone and Oxycodone? Working on a weaning program after spine surgery. Prior to surgery I was on high doses of Oxycodone for quite a long time. Pain mgmt Dr is a joke, I feel they are looking at keeping me as a patient, I just want off all pain meds. It would be helpful to know how they correlate to make as smooth as possible ride down to zero mg/day. How many ibuprofen and acetaminophen equal 1 Vicodin ## Vicodin doesn't contain any Ibuprofen, so you honestly can't really compare it with this medication. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, whilst Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid derived from codeine. Since neither of these are in the same drug class, it would be like comparing apples to bananas. The only thing it would do for an infection is treat the pain and fever that it may cause, it wouldn't actually treat the infection itself. The Cheratussin AC contains Codeine and Guaifenesin, so it isn't the same, because this would be used mostly to treat cough and cold symptoms. Norco is the brand name by Watson for 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen, they also make the generic. Norco is yellow in color and caplet shaped.Originally it was only 10mg, now it's 7.5 and 5, hydrocodone and the same Tylenol in all. Has no codiene in it.
